Katie's pov
I decided to make a nice meal for River and I.since Lake was traveling with Frances and Foo Fighters,River and I finally have time to do whatever we want."Katie!Lake!I'm home!"I heard River call out,I grinned.I walked into the living room and saw him holding a Beatles record,"where's Lake?"he asked.I gently took the record from him,"she's on a trip with Frances."i replied."so,we're finally alone?"he asked,I nodded."FINALLY!"he cheered,I laughed.as much as we loved Lake,she was becoming a handful.though teenagers can always be a handful,anyways:I led River into the kitchen and revealed the food I made.he looked starstruck,"I love you so much."he said.I giggled and smiled,blushing a bit.

After eating food we went upstairs to,yah know.as I laid in bed,resting my head on his chest,I looked back at the day we met and how my life changed forever...

I sat down on the couch and exhaled,I rubbed my eyes."just breath Katie....just breath..."I thought,trying to calm myself down.i then heard a knock on my trailer door,"huh,that must be my hair stylist..."I thought.i walked towards my trailer door and opened it,revealing River Phoenix.i immediately blushed,I forgot that he was casted in this movie.how the fuck can I forget that?HE'S LITERALLY PLAYING THE MAIN CHARACTER IN THIS MOVIE!"I-uh-um-hi!"was all I could say,"nice one Katie,now he thinks you're a fucking weirdo."I thought."Hey,I'm River Phoenix:but I'm assuming you already knew that."he introduced himself to me,"y-yeah-i mean!um,I'm Katie!"I introduced myself to him.he chuckled,"nice to meet you Katie."he said as he shook my hand.

"So-so um what are you doing here?"I asked as I allowed him in my trailer."well I was thinking maybe we could practice our scenes together."he suggested as he sat down on the couch,"that would actually be nice,I don't usually practice my lines...."I trailed off.why the fuck did I admit that?"I don't either."he admitted.i looked at him,I was shocked and at the same time I was confused.i was about to say something but suddenly we both heard a knock on my trailer door,we turned our heads and saw my hair stylist."hi Katie!am I interrupting something?"she asked,"not at all."River said.it was like he took the words right out of my mouth,"I'll see you later Katie."he said as he stood up.

River picked up his script from the coffee table in front of us,he opened the book.i sorta copied what he did,"ok,you ready?"he asked.i nodded,we both cleared our throats.as we practiced our lines I noticed a kissing scene in the next page,I blushed.I've never kissed anyone before...embarrassing,I know.River noticed I was blushing,"nervous?"he asked.i nodded,"I...I-I uh,I've never kissed anyone before."I admitted."really?"he asked,i embarrassingly nodded.instead of making fun of me he said,"that's ok."i was a bit surprised.he then scooted closer to me,"maybe we should...practice?"he suggested.i noticed that he was slightly blushing,was he nervous too?

after we left the diner and walked back to his car."I had a good time Rio."I said,"you did?"he asked.I nodded,he smiled."I'm glad you had a good time."he said,I blushed and looked away.he turned my head towards him and lifted my chin up a bit,we looked into each other's eyes."River?"I said,"yeah?"he said."can...can we kiss?"I asked,"I've been waiting to kiss you for hours."he said with a grin.he cupped my cheeks and gently kissed me,it felt more magical than the first time we kissed.
