Katie's pov
"RIVER!"Joaquin and I both yelled,River was on the ground near the Viper Room.i held him in my arms as Joaquin called 911,"River,River please don't leave me!"I sobbed."Help is on the way!"Joaquin told me,"they need to hurry!"I sobbed.i could hear an ambulance coming,they took River from my arms and put him on a stretcher.they loaded him into an ambulance,Joaquin and I got in the ambulance.i shakily held River's hand,"please....please god don't take River away from me..."I thought.when we arrived at the hospital the stopped us from following River,"please stay here,the doctors will handle this."the nurse said to me and Joaquin.i put my hand on my mouth and began to sob,"it's going to be Katie,he's going to be fine:h-he...he has to be fine."Joaquin tried to reassure me.
Eventually he began to break down and cry,I hugged him tightly."I...I never got to tell him Joaquin."i said,"tell...tell him what Katie?"Joaquin asked.i began to cry again,"I'm pregnant Joaquin."I confessed.he widened his eyes,"I'm...I'm gonna be an uncle?"he asked.i nodded,"River...I cant raise this baby alone Joaquin..."I sobbed."you won't,because River will be there with you:I mean he is the father."Joaquin said,"but-"he cut me off."no buts."he said,"Katie!Joaquin!"we heard Summer say.we turned around and saw Summer,Liberty,Rain,and Mrs.Phoenix and Mr.Phoenix.they all hugged me and Joaquin,"is he gonna be ok?"Rain asked.
