Tonight Katie was meeting my family,I was more nervous than her."you gonna be ok?"I asked her as we arrived at the front door,"I-I think I'll be fine."she tried to reassure me.i gently kissed her on the cheek,I then held her hand.as I was about to knock the door Summer opened it,she gasped and smiled when she saw me and Katie."LIBERTY!RAIN!JOAQUIN!MOM!DAD!KATIE AND RIVER ARE HERE!"she yelled,I quickly checked to see if she made me deaf.luckily,she didn't.as Katie and I walked inside the house we were immediately hugged by Liberty,Rain,Joaquin,and Summer."Liberty!Rain,Joaquin!Summer!don't crowd your brother and his girlfriend!"mom said,they all stopped hugging us.
"You ok?"I whispered asked Katie,"I'm fine,your family must be really excited to meet me."she replied.i blushed and scratched the back of my neck,"well I do talk about you a lot."i said as I looked away.she blushed,"Really?"she asked.i nodded,"you must be Katie!"mom said.she hugged Katie,"it's so nice to meet you mrs.Phoenix."Katie said."she's a nice lady son."dad said to me,"Mom,Dad,can we eat now?I'm so hungry I could eat Rain!"Joaquin said.Rain gasped and hid behind Liberty,Katie and I giggled."ok,ok,everyone at the table!"mom said,we all sat down at the dinner table.
Mrs.Phoenix served me and River first before everyone else,maybe it's cause we're guests(I don't really know).we all chatted and ate our food,"Katie?can you hang out with us tomorrow?please?"Liberty asked."please Katie?"Summer and Joaquin both said,River chuckled."sure,I'd love to hang out with you guys."i said happily,"yay!"they cheered."your girlfriend is awesome River!"Rain said,"she sure is."River said with a smile.
