Jake's POV

I'm not your average prince where I should act princely, elegant, or whatever princes do.

I'd rather explore the world without everyone's attention on me.

Oh, Prince Jake an explorer! He shouldn't be out doing such things! Guess what? I am!

"Sir! Do you really desire to reach the top of the mountain?" Timothy said

"I really do, Timothy!" I said stepping on one rock to another

"Be careful, Sir! You might fall down!" He said

I laugh as I was almost at the top.

"I'm not, see, don't worry about mEeEeEE-"

I was about to place my hand on the surface but it accidentally slipped. I was about to fall down but someone caught my hand.

"HOLD ON!" A girl's voice said while grabbing my hand

She pulls me on to the surface and she plops herself down and pants.

"You saved my life!" I said

"Yeh..you needed help..why wouldn't I-"

"THANK YOU FOR SAVING ME! Ms.?"

"Y/n. Call me Y/n" she said

"And you are?" She asked

I stopped and gave her a confused look.

"You don't know me, do you?"

"That's why I asked.." she said

We stare at eachother for a moment and I felt a tingly feeling inside me.

"GOOD HEAVENS! SIR! THANK GOD YOU'RE ALRIGHT!" Timothy yells

"Please don't tell my mother about this!" I begged

"I didn't, everyone already did." He said and I looked down and there were tons of people watching me

"YOUR HIGHNESS! ARE YOU ALRIGHT??" Someone yelled

"YOUR GRACE, CAN YOU SIGN MY FAN??" yelled the other

"Who is this?" Timothy asked as he looks at Y/n

"Y/n." She said confidently

"She saved my life!" I said and Timothy's eyes widened

"OH THANK YOU SO MUCH! IF IT WASN'T FOR YOU, I WOULD'VE BEEN FIRED BY NOW." Timothy yells out of joy

"Timothy," I said

"Too much?" He asked

"So you're a prince.." She said

"Yes, apparently. Uhm..We should reward something for you.." I said and she stopped me

"I don't need it." She said

"What? Why?" I asked

"It's just a simple act of kindness. I don't need a reward." She said about to stand up

"Wait! How about dinner?"

"No!" She yelled

"Please! It's just a simple dinner and nothing else. No more rewards just dinner. Simple act of kindness, right? Take this as a thank you." I said
