Your POV

I have an adopted brother,

He told me he used to have a twin but he passed away when they were both born.

My brother is a very energetic guy. He's all over the place.

But sometimes, he has these moments when he talks to himself.

We thought that he was communicating with his twin, we found it cute before thinking he would grow out of it. But until now, he still does.

He usually talks at night.

Sometimes, he babbles and talks randomly about anything.

There was this moment when he mentioned me in his convos.

"Please, don't hurt them." B/n said and went back to sleep

"Y/n! B/n! Time for school!" Mom yelled

I finish tying up my shoes and head to B/n's room.

I stopped my tracks to see him standing in the corner, talking to himself again.

"Please, don't do this."

"I won't let you hurt them!" He whispered

"B/n!" I yell

He was startled by the sudden act and turns around.

"Y/n.." he said his face frowned

"Let's go.." I said

"Ok.. I'll be down." He said and picked up his backpack

I walk around the hallways during break hours with my friends.

Suddenly, B/n's homeroom teacher ran up to me with a worried look on her face.

"Y/n! Have you seen your brother?" She asked

"He came to class, Mrs. Lee" I said

"But he hasn't been attending lately. Please inform him when you get home." She said and left

.

My mom came to pick me up and as I went inside the car, B/n wasn't there.

"Where is he?" I asked

"Oh! He said he's going home with his friends, they're having a sleepover." She said and I nodded

B/n was a bit mysterious that night. He wasn't like his usual self.

"Is your brother okay?" His friend asks

"Yeh.."

"He's been saying stuff lately. Like he was gonna do something in the midnight."

"His body was weak and cold. It didn't feel like him." The other said

"He was fine awhile ago." I said

"Nevermind. Let's go play." He said and went out

I went downstairs and found mom and dad at their room whispering.

"I am sick of this!" Mom said

"No!" Dad replied

"I don't want to pretend anymore! I'm not risking my life! That boy is a mur-" I heard a slapping sound from the room

"Don't you dare assume your son like that!" He said

I walk back up the stairs and was about to go to my room.

I noticed B/n's room was open.

I went inside and looked around..

What are you hiding?

"Run." I hear a whisper behind me

When I turn around nobody was there. I shrug it off and continue to look around.

"Run away, please." Another whisper surrounds my ear

As I turn around, B/n was right behind me.

"What are you doing here, Y/n?" He said with a calm tone

"O-oh! I need a pen and I thought I could borrow yours." I lied

"Okay, you could've just asked." He said and gave me a pen

"Thanks.." I said and went back to my room

"Dinner's ready!" Mom yelled from downstairs

I went down and everyone was seated at the table. Weird looks at eachother, crooked smiles, twitching eyes. Something was definitely wrong.

"Honey, please call your brother. I should get your father as well" She said and went to their room

"Okay.." I was a bit hesitant but still went back up to call him

"B/n, dinner's ready.." I said

He slowly turns around and gives me a smile.

"I'll be down in a minute." He said

I walk back down and noticed everyone was gone.

Everyone disappeared!

"Y/n! Can you come back here and help me with this.." B/n yelled

"Sure! One se-" my mouth was covered and I was pulled outside

I was about to yell until I met the person's eyes. There was blood stains on his shirt and was ripped into shreds.

B/n??

"Shh! He can hear you."

"But-"

"All of this was their plan, alright? Those people, aren't your parents. The person you saw today, the person with you the whole day, wasn't me." He said as he points everyone

"It was somebody else." He said
