Chapter 1

Tanjiro POV

"Ohayo Tanjiro-kun!" someone said. I turned around to see who greeted me.

"Ohayo Shinobu-san." I said lowering my head a little.

"Ara~ You're in your uniform, Tanjiro-kun. Perhaps your getting ready for your up coming mission?" she said leaning close to me.

"Yes Shinobu-san! Actually I was about to get Nezuko but if she's still heavily asleep I might not bring her with me." I said while smiling at her.

"That would be a good idea, Tanjiro-kun. Good luck with your mission." she said before disappearing. Being a Hashira sure is nice. You have the strength, the speed and most importantly you can save so many people. While I'm on my way to Nezuko's room I came across Aoi-san.

"Ohayo Aoi-san! Is Nezuko awake?" I asked her.

"Ohayo Tanjiro-kun and no. Nezuko-chan have not woke up since the three of you came here. Excuse me I have a lot of things to do." she said before walking away.

"I guess I'll go on the mission alone." I said to myself. I got to the room where I was staying and grab my katana before going to my mission. Just before I left the Butterfly mansion I came across Tomioka-san who is injured.

"Ohayo Tomioka-san! What happened?" I asked him tilting my head a little.

"Just got back from a mission. Do you know where Kocho is?" he said still looking dull.

"I had a little chat with her earlier but she didn't told me where she was going." I told him. I notice him look at my back.

"Your not bringing your sister with you?" he asked curiously.

"No. She have not woken up yet so I decided not to tag her along. Its kind of weird." I told him scratching the back of my neck.

"Well, be careful in your mission." he said before going in.

"I can go this! I'm the eldest son, I can do this." I said to myself before going to my designated mission.

I've been walking for hours and I'm luckily enough to know that the Butterfly Mansion is quite close to my mission. Not to far but not to close. When I arrived at the destination, I'm shocked to see a lot of dead demon slayers. I run up to them to know if someone is still alive.

"Are you ok?! What happened?" I asked her.

"N-NO! Don't c-come in here! It's dangerous, plus your only a Mizunoto!" she said. It kind of hurt when she said I'm only a Mizunoto but it's true plus she's got a higher rank that me.

"All o-of us in here is in there opposite gender. I-In other words I-I'm originally a bo-" she was cut of when the demon suddenly killed her. I jumped back to avoid his attack.

"Ehe~ You'd look lovely and tasty as a girl." he said before attacking me. I kept on blocking its attack but cutting some of its body when I saw an opening.

"What do you mean?!" I asked him before cutting both of his arms out.

"I can turn you into a girl with just a scratch. It's called a Blood demon art sweetie~" he said before attacking me. I was caught off guard but I dodge it on time.

"Water Breathing!" I said. Running towards him seeing an opening thread.

"First form, Water surface splash!" I said before cutting his head off.

"Ehehe~ To bad I won't see you as a girl." he said before completely disappearing.

"But he didn't land a hit on me... or it did?" I said to myself. I quickly run back to the demon slayer to see if any is still alive. When I found someone still alive, I quickly separate them from the others for the Kakushi's to know which one is still alive and which is not.
