Sumiko POV

"What do you think will Mitsuri-san tell you when she saw you like that in the future?" I asked him making him stop before looking at me.

"She would hate me." he answered quickly. I know what I'm going to do next is rude but what he said is stupid. I slap his face making him turn the to the side.

"I'm sorry Iguro-san for slapping you but do you really think Mitsuri-san judge people easily? I can smell love from her when she's talking to everyone but the strongest scent of love I smelled from her is when she's talking or hanging out with you." I told him. He touched his left cheek where I slapped him before looking at me.

"Just... Just give me sometime." he whispered to me. I let out a sigh before dragging him with me back inside.

"It's almost New Year." I told him. As we arrived back in the mansion I quickly let Iguro-san wrist go as we spotted them.

"Sumiko-chan! Iguro-san!" Mitsuri-san shouted before hugging the two of us.

"Where have the two of you been? We're so worried." Mitsuri-san said as she release the hug.

"Sumiko found me in the garden." Iguro-san answered Mitsuri-san.

"I see. So you two are growing close! That's good!" Mitsuri-san said happily.

"I'll leave you two alone. I can smell you wanted to talk to each other." I told them before leaving them behind. I went towards Zenitsu and the others.

"Hey!" I called them walking towards them. Nezuko in her small size run towards me giving me a big hug.

"Hey." Zenitsu greeted back. I pick up Nezuko as we walk closer to Zenitsu and Inosuke.

"Thanks for watching Nezuko for me." I told them.

"I'm doing this for food." Inosuke replied making me and Zenitsu laugh.

"I forgot it's snowing earlier." I told them as I wipe some of the snow in my haori off.

"You should be careful more Sumiko-chan. Nezuko-chan's really worried about you. You still have your sprained right foot." Zenitsu said. I smiled at his kindness before nodding.

"Happy New Year!!" we heard the Hashira's shouted causing for the four of us jump.

"Goodness that scared me." I whisper to myself clutching my chest.

"Sumiko-chan! Let's eat!" Mitsuri-san shouted. As a cue, Inosuke quickly run at them but followed by Zenitsu trying to stop him. I was about to follow them when I saw Muichiro-kun going out the garden.

"Where is he going?" Nezuko asked me but I just shrugged. Nezuko suggest to follow him so I did, even if I feel guilty for invading his privacy. We kept on following him even though I'm still carrying Nezuko. We just found our self near the HQ.

"Who is he?" Nezuko asked. I looked at Muichiro-kun talking to somebody.

"Genya?" I said confused on why their talking in here, in a cold snowy night. I silently approach the two of them before talking.

"Why are you two here?" I asked the two of them. They both looked at me with widen eyes shocked to see me behind them.

"Sumiko? Did you follow me?" Muichiro-kun said.

"Yes I did but I'm sorry. It's just weird for you going out on a cold snowy night." I said. I looked at Genya and noticed his a little bit red.

"Are you fine Genya?" I asked him. He nodded his head still red.
