Chapter 46

Sumiko POV

It's been three months since our victory and we by means Zenitsu and Inosuke tagging along with us to our old home. Muichiro wanted to come but the others forbid him to. Mitsuri-san didn't want us to let us go when she gave her last hug. Iguro-san needed to pull her away from us so we can leave.

"Hey, what're you carrying?" Inosuke asked Zenitsu.

"Grandfather's remains." Zenitsu answered quickly.

"Remains? Is that a snack?" Inosuke shouted that made us shocked.

"No! Are you stupid?!" Zenitsu shouted back. I don't even know what happened in Inosuke's past but I will help him no matter what.

"We're back!" Nezuko shouted before going to the pile of flowers and sitting in front of it.

"Otou-san, Oka-san, Takeo, Hanako, Shigeru and Rokuta this is Inosuke and Zenitsu our friends. Inosuke and Zenitsu this is our.. Family!" Nezuko said trying to sound cheerful. Zenitsu's eyes widen as Inosuke remove his boar mask. Nezuko smiled at them before nodding. We all sat on the ground paying some respect.

Father, Mother, Takeo, Hanako, Shigeru, Rokuta. Nezuko and I manage to return because a lot of people helped us along the way. Many people lost their lives but thanks to everyone's hard work our wishes came true.

No matter how much hardship awaits us in the future, we will look forward and survive byhelping each other out. Our lives are connected to everyone's now, and we will do our utmost best to live.

'Welcome Home'

I suddenly felt someone hugged me from behind causing me to turn around. I saw Nezuko did the same as we made eye contact. We suddenly teared up that made Zenitsu and Inosuke panic.

"No crying!!" Zenitsu shouted as he and Inosuke hugged the two of us. I'm glad I have friends like them.

"Ehh? This place isn't dirty at all!" Zenitsu commented.

"Hm! It was already cleaned when I went here with some of the hashira's." I said watching Zenitsu and Inosuke wonder around the house.

"So this was the house you and Nezuko were raised in, Sumiko. So warm and nice." Zenitsu once again commented in awe.

"What is this?! It's got claw marks on it! These are beast marks I've never seen before!" Inosuke suddenly shouted.

"No, Inosuke. This is how our family measured our height. We even wrote our names so we could know how tall we were." I explained as Inosuke shouted once again. Not like anything changed.

"Me too! I wanna do it too!" Inosuke shouted.

"Onee-chan, Inosuke-san, let's do that later. We have to clean before the sun sets." Nezuko said putting a clothe about her head as Zenitsu stared at her, hearts forming his eyes.

"Of course. I'll talk care of Zenitsu." I said looking at him.

"Eh?! Why me?!" Zenitsu shouted hiding behind Inosuke.

"OI! GET AWAY FROM ME!" Inosuke shouted that made the hell broke lose. I watch as Nezuko tried stopping the two from fighting that made me smile.

"Nee-chan! Help me!" Nezuko shouted that made me laugh.

"Alright."

'We're home'

This is it! It's the final chapter. I still can't believe that this is the last chapter of my first ever book. I'm sorry it's short. I can't think of anything to make this chapter longer but worry not, I'll still post some 'extra' chapters. Bonus perhaps. I might as well get that ready for tomorrow.
