Susie and Zero

                 When I got back to the mansion, a million thoughts flooded through my head all at once. Most of them were about how Garroth was still alive since I saw or I thought I saw myself kill him. Julie noticed my distress and asked me what happened. I explained to her exactly what happened. I told her about Garroth and how I thought he was dead. I don't know what Jules was thinking when I told her this but I did see a look of surprise when I told her that Garroth was a police officer. "I didn't even know that he was going to school to become one," I concluded. Julie tried to comfort me but the new Proxy pushed past us with a blood-covered sledge-axe. The head of the ax hit me in my face and left a blood smear on me. "What the hell!?" I exclaimed while lashing my tail. "Do you want to be deleted?" Zero asked with her stitching on her face bleeding a little. "Is that a threat?" I asked her getting in her face. Julie broke us apart but Zero grabbed her wrist and broke it. This sent me into a fit of rage and I went ballistic on this skeleton impersonator-b*tch. I hadn't realized that she had embedded her weapon into my left flank until Slender-man broke us apart. He teleported both of us into a confinement room for Proxies that don't get along with each other. "This is the third time this week," He said growing angrier, "I am going to leave you two here without your weapons until you two finally get along! If you two get into a fight again, I will increase the radiation that I give off until you two stop fighting or until you pass out. Do I make myself clear?" "Yes sir," I said nervously. Zero said nothing and just looked up at Slendy with her cold, emotionless eyes. A tendril extended from Slender-man's back and it stabbed into Zero's shoulder then pinned her to the concrete wall. Zero just laughed like she didn't register the tendril impaling her shoulder. Another tendril extended and stabbed Zero's other shoulder but it either didn't phase Zero or she didn't care. "Okay, Slendy-Daddy<3," She said with a suggestive smile. Slender-man put Zero down on the concrete floor then teleported away. "He seems fun," Zero said after he left. "You haven't even seen his bad side yet," I replied in a serious tone. Ten minutes had passed and both Zero and I just kept to opposite sides of the room. Zero was drawing large circles on the wall with her own blood. "Why are you called Zero?" I asked curiously. "It was the name that Alice gave me when she imagined me," Zero replied not looking back at me, "I was created to protect Alice but I couldn't protect her if there were others in the way." There was a long pause before Zero spoke again. "Tell me, Legion," She said turning around on the bed she was sitting on to face me, "Why are you here? You seem stable enough to be out in the real world but you stay. Why?" "I have nowhere else to go," I said resting my chin on my knees which I was hugging against my chest, "I have no family left and even if I did, they know what I did and they will turn me in or send me to a psych ward. My dad raped and abused me on a daily basis because I wasn't a werewolf like my brother. My own mother didn't even do anything to stop him so I had to deal with it for 17 long years until I finally snapped. When I lost control, it was my first moment of clarity and I killed my dad, my brother, and my mom that night and I felt safe for the first time." Zero said nothing but I saw a glimmer of sympathy in her eyes and I also saw a single tear fall from her eyes. "How do you have wolf ears and a wolf tail?" She asked tilting her head slightly which caused some blood to trickle from the stitching in her carved smile. "I am werewolf recessive," I said, "But I learned how to show my ears and tail." She got off of the bed the walked over to me and sat down next to me. "I have a question," I said, "What are you supposed to look like?" "A skeleton," She replied calmly. "Really," I said with a slight smile, "Because it kind of looks like you are trying to steal Jeff's look." "More like that walking hot topic tried to steal my look," She giggled.

                  For the next two hours, both Zero and I were starting to become friends. She told me more about herself and what she did before she came here. I braided her hair and taught her how to braid mine while I told her more about myself. Just then, Slender-man phased into the room to check on us. "I am happy you two are getting along," He said approvingly, "Susie, I have an assignment for you." I thought of arguing but I knew that I would be playing with fire if I did so I nodded my head. He teleported both of us back to the mansion and told me to gear up. Once I had everything that I needed, I went out to find this person.
