Dangerous 3: Pierre George

Chapter 27

Naningkit ang mga mata ni Pierre nang maibaba niya ang tawag na natanggap ni Iris. His eyes instantly landed on Iris as he heaved a sigh then he caressed her sleeping face. Its been a month since they stayed in Denmark, and Iris seems like she's adjusting well.

In two weeks time, they will be having their wedding, and the call that Iris received just pissed him off kaya naman he blocked the number tapos ay bumuntong hininga siya bago siya bumangon. Its been a week since Iris received those calls. At isang linggo na niyang naririnig ang mga walang kwentang sinasabi ng nanay nito sa tuwing tatawag ito sa fiancé niya.

Pierre didn't speak during the calls. He just continued to listen to her blabber. And Pierre took note of what she stated during the calls, which pissed him off every time.

Hindi niya alam if he's lucky dahil saktong uuwi siya ngayon sa Pilipinas and he would be staying there for three days para tulungan si Wyndell and to check if there's any problems that need to be addressed. He would go see that woman habang nasa Pilipinas siya. He wants to see kung gaano ito kamiserable pagkatapos siya nitong inisin dahil sa pagtawag nito nang pagtawag kay Iris.

Kaagad na dinampot ni Pierre ang cellphone niya at tumipa dito ng mensahe para sa isa sa mga kaibigan niya. 

"Buddy, I'm going to see Iris's mother." He sent a message to Jake at hindi na niya hinintay ang reply nito at ibinaba na lamang ang cellphone niya sa lamesang nasa gilid ng kama niya.

Pierre went straight to the bathroom as he took a quick bath at nang makalabas siya sa banyo ay nagsuot lamang siya ng simpleng shirt at jeans. Then he walked towards the bed and kissed Iris's forehead. He let out a soft chuckle when Iris purred like a cat before she slowly opened her eyes.

Inaantok na tumingin sa kaniya si Iris bago ito nagsalita. "You're leaving na?" She asked at kaagad naman niyang sinagot ang tanong nito.

"Mhm. I'll be away for three days, may gusto ka bang pasalubong?" Tanong niya at parang bata namang nagkusot ng mata si Iris at umupo ito sa kama.

"Mangoes. I want the ones from the Philippines. Hindi ko alam, pero mas masarap siya kaysa sa nabibili natin dito." She answered like a child, giving reasons para lang ibili siya ng gusto niya at tumawa naman si Pierre.

"Alright. Anything else?" He asked as he sat beside her at humilig naman sa balikat niya si Iris bago ito nagsalita.

"Be safe. Come back soon." She answered with a sleepy voice then she yawned and that made Pierre smile.

"Mhm. I'll be back soon. Remember to not answer calls from unknown numbers, okay?" Paalala niya kay Iris and she only hummed instead of answering kaya mahina siyang natawa.

When he glanced at her, nakapikit na ito at mukhang napaidlip na ito ulit kaya dahan-dahan niyang inihiga si Iris sa kama bago niya hinalikan ang noo nito at lumabas sa kwarto nila.

When he got down, kaagad niyang nakita ang kapatid niyang kababalik lamang sa Denmark last week dahil nagbakasyon ito.

"Hey, take care of Iris while I'm away. Ikaw na ang magsabi kina mom and dad na nakaalis na ako. I'm in a hurry." Aniya at tinapik ang balikat ng kapatid.

"Sure thing. Come back soon." 

The moment that Pierre got out of the airport, kaagad siyang naglakad patungo sa sasakyan niya. Nang makapasok siya sa loob ay mabilis niyang binuhay ang makina nito at nagsimulang magmaneho. 

His face was dark as he drove. He would be going to Iris's mother bago siya pumunta sa hospital. Of course, they won the case, thanks to Ciel, his good friend's hard work. Every time he remembers that the woman had been calling Iris's number for a whole week, he's getting pissed off. Hindi siya natutuwang tumatawag ito sa fiancé niya.
