As they sat in a small coffee bar tucked away onto a side street in downtown Florence, Sebastian looked at Rylee seriously.
"So. Do you want the good news, or the bad news first?" Sebastian stated, taking a bite of his toast.
Rylee stared at him, trying to decide if this was actually serious or not, but his face stayed stoic and unreadable, "Um. Bad news."
"Bad news is, this is our last day in Florence." Sebastian stated matter of factly.
Rylee's lips instantly turned into a pout, sad at the thought, "But I thought our vacation was until the 27th."
"Uh-Uh-Uh. You've got to ask about the good news part before you start questioning things."
Humoring him, she looked at him and said, "Okay, hit me with the good news."
"We're packing our things up tonight and heading to our next destination tomorrow morning after breakfast."
Rylee was utterly shocked. Another destination? There was more than just Florence for their vacation?
Rylee had wanted to come up with some witty response, but her brain was stuck trying to figure out where they would be going tomorrow.
"Just...don't try guessing. What will be, will be." Sebastian winked over the edge of his coffee cup, sipping slowly, "Let's just enjoy our last Florence day, shall we?"
He held his cup out slightly towards her, and she moved her cup closer as well, clinking them together to toast as she nodded, relaxing into her chair.
Throughout the rest of the afternoon, they spent their time simply walking up and down the streets of the city, taking everything in, hands laced tightly together.
"Excuse me, you're Sebastian right?" Both Sebastian and Rylee stopped as they heard a voice ask behind them, causing them to turn.
There were two girls behind them, both around 25 or so years old.
"We're sorry to bother you, we just love your movies...and wanted to say hi."
"Oh, no problem at all, thank you! That's so nice! What're your names?"
"I'm Mandy," the petite red head spoke first.
"And I'm Charlie," her tall, brunette friend tagged on.
"Well, I guess you know me, but this is my..." he paused for a split second, unsure what to say. Fiancée? Girlfriend? They hadn't talked about it yet...he'd play it safe for now and talk to her about it later, "this is Rylee." Sebastian quickly finished.
They both waved and said hello, and made small talk for a few minutes, talking about their favorites of Sebastian's characters and movies. And giving them tips about traveling throughout Italy and what they should see before they leave the country.
"It's so nice to meet you both in real life," Charlie said, "I follow you both on Instagram and your relationship is just, ah, so wonderful." Charlie blushed at her own words, almost embarrassed to have said it.
"Aw, thank you! He's okay I guess." Rylee said as she scrunched her nose up, looking at him. She looped her right hand around his hip, and patted his chest with her left. He looped his arm around her hip in return.
Both Charlie and Mandy's eyes widened and they both side-eyed each other, as they noticed the ring glimmering on Rylee's finger.
Rylee followed their eyes down to where her hand laid and she froze. Oh crap. Rylee looked back up at Sebastian who was looking down at her. He gave her a small shrug, almost invisible to the naked eye. And she nodded slightly in return.
