In the weeks that followed I made her change all the locks on the door I installed alarms on the windows and a new alarm system in the house when we were alone at home I make sure all the doors are locked properly Lilly had called me to tell me her favorite color which was blue and purple so I started looking  for the perfect ring according to Lilly I can get  one of her ring sizes from one of the Rings one day when she was in the bathroom I found one of the Rings to get the size there was no news from Phil he was quiet neither was anything found on her Ex It made me uneasy because he was too quiet that meant he was up to something more dangerous. One weekend when Lilly and the others were visiting we went out for dinner along with her mom and brother and her uncle and I proposed to her and she said yes now we were officially engaged I asked her when she wanted to get married but she decided she wanted to wait until the baby got here that was okay with me as long as my ring is already on her finger that was all that matter .she said yes and that was all that mattered too.

3 Months later

JAKE

MC" Jake…. Jake "

Jake "  yes princess what is it "

I walked into the living room she was laying on the couch for the past few weeks she's been ordered by the doctor not to move about because her feet were swollen I feel bad for her

Jake " yes princess what is it "

MC " can we have Chinese food"

Jake"  you can have anything you want princess are you feeling okay"

MC "no I'm not my feet hurts"

Jake" I'm sorry love do you want me to massage it for you"

MC "  no it's okay I'll just lay here and watch my movie "

Jake "  okay I don't want to leave you alone to go get the Chinese food so I'll call Chris okay "

she just nodded and I went back into the small office that she had off the living room I  left the door open so I could see her I called Chris told him what she wanted he was now the errand boy he made it known that I shouldn't leave her alone I wasn't going to leave her alone not for anything he would be over with the food I wasn't in there for 15 minutes when i heard her crying I ran out into the living room where she was I thought something happened to her when I got there she was just lying on the couch crying

Jake " what happened love are you okay "

MC "  no it's so sad the movie  his dog died "

I couldn't help it I started laughing

MC "now you're making fun of me "

and she started crying harder I know it wasn't her fault it was the pregnancy she couldn't help it but it just seemed funny that she was crying because of dog was dead in the movie I started laughing harder and she started crying louder I couldn't help it when I calmed down a bit I walked over and sat next to her

Jake "  I'm sorry princess I didn't mean to laugh at you but it's just the situation "

MC " it's not my fault I can't help it "

just then my phone started ringing so I walked back into the office and got my phone

Jake " hello Thomas how are you"?

Thomas "  I'm good but things are bad it's not good "

Jake "  what do you mean things are bad "

Thomas " well nobody mentioned anything that you and MC got engaged and I don't know how phil found out because he stopped by Jessy's place we're all hanging out the over there he just stormed in and accused her of knowing and  not telling him so when Jessy asked him knowing what he just said that she knew that you guys got engaged and she did not tell him. Jessy basically told him that , that's not his business. That has nothing to do with him, he went on a crazy rant saying that we all knew that he was in love with MC and yet we didn't do anything to help him "
