That morning all through breakfast I looked at her I couldn't help it I kept looking at her because I knew this would be the last time I would see her for a while it hurt me she just left she had to run an errand for her mother so I was alone in the house I decided this was my one chance so I called Lilly

Jake " really I need to talk to you "

Lilly " what happened what's wrong"

Jake " today is my last day with her I'm turning myself in tomorrow but I need you to come get me "

Lilly " okay Hannah and I'll come get you just send me the address "

Jake " it'll have to be at 2:00 in the morning when she's asleep "

Lilly " why ?"

jake " because it'll be harder for me to leave if she's awake and she won't be able to tolerate it "

Lilly " okay we'll be there "

I called the FBI my life depended on them

Jake " Mr Chase this is the hacker "

Mr Chase " it seems you've come to your senses , all you have to do is turn yourself in "

Jake " and the information i found ?"

Mr Chase " What information ?"

Jake " you really don't know ?"

Mr Chase " no i don't "

Jake " i have information that can potentially put half your FBI agents in prison , political leaders with ties to illegal business , prostituting ring , and sex trafficking "

Mr Chase " I'll make you a deal if the information you have is legitimate then
I'll personally speak to the judge to grant you immunity but you'll spend at least two years inside "

Jake " sounds good to me , I'll see you on Sunday in Duskwood "

Mr Chase " very well "

That was it i have today more with her it hurt my heart. just then she walked through the door.

Mc "Hey "

Jake " Hey "

Mc " Are you okay ?"

Jake " I'm fine "

That was a lie , I was anything but fine ,I laid in bed with her all day because I needed it she just kept looking at me. We ate dinner very quietly i was afraid I'd say something she was looking at me

Mc " you're leaving tomorrow aren't you ?"

If she only knew , I did the only thing I could do so I nodded .

Mc " when will you be back ? "

Jake " Soon "

I didn't expect she slammed her hand on the table and looked me in the eyes

Mc " Don't lie to me "

She was pissed she walked over to the sink I walked over to her and held her

Jake " I don't know love if i could stay her with you i would but you know what would happen "

Mc " I can't do this , good night jake "

She walked away and headed up to her room ,i made sure all the doors were locked and went up after her i knocked on her door but she didn't answer when i opened it she was just sitting there .

Jake " talk to me love "

Mc " I can't , i can't let you go "

Jake " you said you would be able to handle it , you promised me "

Mc " I'm sorry "

I sat next to her

Jake " just know that i love you and will always come back to you , always "

The next thing i knew she was one me throwing me into the bed i ended up making love to her for the second time she wouldn't take no for an answer she was now asleep i looked at the time it was one AM i felt my phone vibrate i checked it

Lilly " we're here we're two houses away "

Jake " I'll be there 10 minutes "

I eased out of the bed quietly and stood there looking at her. She was sleeping so peacefully I went back to the guest room and got my backpack. I had already written a letter for her so I took it and went back to her room. I placed the letter on the pillow next to her . This was hurting me so much i brushed a few strands of hair away from her face and kissed her

Jake " i love you , please wait for me , I'll always come back to you "

I got up and left in the living room. I took one of her picture I needed that , I opened the backdoor and left in the dark. I turned around once to look at the house . When I got to the street I saw Hannah and Lilly .

Hannah " are you okay "

Jake " I'm fine let's go "

I don't know what woke me up but something felt wrong. I sat up and turned on the lamp when I looked at the time it was 5 AM. When I looked next to me he wasn't there, just an envelope on the pillow and I knew ,I felt it in my heart he was gone . my heart was breaking but i didn't want to cry , that wouldn't bring him back to me. So i opened the envelope and pulled the letter out .

There was also a picture , one he took when we were laying on the couch watching TV this was all i had and his messages It was no use When the tears came. I loved him. I would always wait for him .I needed to get back to my life. I texted Lilly . I didn't know if she was awake

Mc " He's gone "

Lilly " who's gone ?"

Mc " Jake "

Lilly " what do you mean he's gone ?"

Mc " He was here he was here when i came home and now he's gone "

Lilly " I'm sorry mc "

Mc " it's okay ,if you hear from him please let me know "

Lilly " i will mc "

It was no use going back to sleep , sleep wouldn't come so i got up and made myself some coffee for some odd reason i found myself outside the door of the guest room i opened it and on the bed was his hoodie it smelt like him i cried because i loved him , i cried because i missed him , i cried because i knew it would take him a very long time before i saw him again . I prayed a silent prayer for him to be okay and safe.
