Heart Broken

Jake's POV

I arrived in Duskwood two hours ago but found no trace of her. Where was she ? I couldn't think of her not being alive. It hurt my soul to think that she was hurt . She wasn't dead and can't be dead the first time in my life. I allowed someone to get close to me , I allowed myself to feel , to care about someone and now she was taken from me.  I wanted to protect her but how I'm always hiding that's no life for someone especially her Where are you Mc help me find you . I sat in that motel room searching for her digital footprint , Richy and Dan's but still couldn't find her . All of a sudden i felt hurt like i just lost a part of me i felt my heart breaking and felt her calling for me  .i  heard my phone ringing I saw it was lilly and it hurt to think what she would tell me

Jake " where is she "?

Lilly " Jake …. "

Jake " No , she's not dead , she can't leave me please tell me she's alive please  "

Lilly " No no  jake  she's alive she found Hannah but she got shot  we're on our way to the hospital with her "

Jake " I'm coming i need to see her  "

Lilly " No there's police all around we're all with her we won't leave her "

Jake " i don't care i need to see her send me the address "

Lilly " Okay I'll tell them you're her brother "

Jake " please did you tell Hannah "

Lilly " i didn't have to mc told her everything , jake after she got shot she was calling out for you "

That was Why i felt that way she was calling out to me it scared me because only when someone Owns you completely ,heart , mind , body and soul does that happen . And I've never seen her .

Jake "  one hour I'll be there "

She was alive , I wanted to be there for her. I knew it was dangerous but just once I needed to see her just once then I'd disappear .

MC's POV

I Felt like i was floating on air my eyes were too heavy to open so i laid there listening

Lilly " Hannah are you sure you're okay "?

Hannah " I'm fine "

Jake " how long before she wakes up why isn't she awake yet  " ?

Thomas " in a few minutes , she'll be fine jake "

He was here , he came to me when i needed him He  cares about me.  I was in love with him and I knew he felt the same if he didn't I don't know how i would feel but i was sure .

Mc " jake "

I felt the bed dip as someone sat on it i couldn't open my eyes i was afraid to what if it was all a dream

Jake " Mc I'm here come on open your eyes for me please "

Mc " i can't I don't want you to disappear "

Hannah " come on everyone , Jake we'll be outside give you some time alone "

After a while it was quiet

Jake " please open your eyes for me princess , it's all real I'm right here "

I  slowly opened my eyes and looked up at him god he was handsome  his hair was too long , he needed a shave when i looked into his eyes i knew it was like my soul knew him all along .i saw the minute he realized it too .

Mc " Jake "

Jake " yes princess "

Mc " I love you "

He just looked at me and brushed a few strands of hair away from my face

Jake " I love you too but you already knew that didn't you "?

Mc " yes "

Jake " you scared me love , i was afraid i would never see you again "

Mc " i won't ever leave you . jake the person under the mask it's Richy  "

Jake " what "

Mc " Ricky helped Hannah and Amy bury Jenifer Dan saw them . Michael Blackmailed them into getting rid of Hannah and Amy and anyone else that got in the way of found out "

Jake " I'll tell the others "

Mc " you're keeping something from me "

He just looked at me and kept stroking my arms. He was going to leave me. I felt it . What he did next only cemented my suspicion the minute his lips touched mine. I felt it in my soul. I belonged to him and he was mine. I felt things deep in me that I've never felt before. I didn't want this feeling to end but I knew it couldn't last forever .

Mc " Jake don't do it please , i won't be able to tolerate it "

Jake " I love you , you're the first person I've ever allowed to get inside my head and heart but it's too dangerous , I'll be putting you in danger at every moment . And I can't do that you're already hurt love . You have to move on without me."

Mc " No i won't i just want you please jake , you're hurting me "

Jake " I'll always love you for the rest of my life , you're the only one who has my heart princess  , I'll always belong to you I'll be yours forever "

I couldn't help it i started crying he meant every to me and he was leaving me

Mc " please jake "

Jake " i love you only you don't cry love i have to go "

And just like that he was gone i laid there crying my life was over he left me .

Jake

I knew she would cry i knew i was hurting her but i was also hurt i was in pain it hurt my heart and soul to walk away from her when i walked out of the room they all just looked at me i couldn't say anything i just walked away

Hannah " Jake what happened "?

Lilly " jake "

I didn't stop i couldn't everything has changed i was leaving my life and heart behind .
