JAKE

We sat there for a while. I just sat looking at her wondering how did we get here , we just wanted to be together and so much trouble .

Jake " What's wrong?

Mc " I'm physically tired and mentally exhausted "

Jake " come on let's get you home and to bed "

We left and headed back to her mother's house. Chris had already repaired the front door just as we got in. My phone started ringing. I didn't know the number so I was left looking at it .

Mc " what's Wrong "?

Jake " I don't know this number "

Mc " it may be important , answer it "

So i answered

Jake " Hello "

Phil " Don't say anything , you know the Dinner in town , there's a bar opposite I'm there . I'm waiting "

And he ended the call

Mc " who was it "

Jake " it's about work , we need to go somewhere "

I didn't give her time to answer, I just grabbed her hand and walked out the door . While driving back she just looked at me when i parked Infront of the bar she had a questioning look on her face . I showed her to be quiet. I took my phone and her's and locked it in the car. I saw him the minute I walked in he was all the way in a booth at the back so we went over to him and sat down.

Jake " How did you get here so fast "?

Phil " Bike ,  I'm sorry MC i didn't want to do it okay but i had no choice . But first how did you find out "?

Mc " I hacked your phone "

Phil " Now you're teaching her to hack"

Mc " I've always been able to see what everyone was up to , I've had access since the beginning when we were looking for Hannah "

Jake " what's the deal ,what are you so scared of people finding out "

Phil " when we moved to Duskwood i was still pretty young and I needed a job so i got one with Michael i used to drop stuff off for him it wasn't until a few weeks in that i realized it was drugs "

Mc " Jesus Christ phil , please say you stopped when you found out "

Phil " That's the problem, I didn't . I kept doing it because Hanson was going to sell the Aurora and I wanted to buy it . After that i got into something else printing money, not large bill's small bills and we went to Ashview Hills to get rid of it "

Jake " Are you still doing it "?

Phil " no i stopped a long time ago "

Jake " So what's the problem "?

Phil " Someone has pictures of me in the basement of Aurora , printing money. , Of me packaging drugs "

Mc "  lovely "

Jake " at least say you got rid 9f all the evidence , the machines , liquid  ,paper everything "

Phil " ummm i kinda still have a few of the machines "

I just looked at him

Jake " get rid of it , everything dump it in a lake or burn it ."

Phil " of those pictures get out I'm going to jail , i know it was wrong but i had no choice ,my mother dropped me and my two sisters off in Duskwood and just left  i had to take care of them. Jessy doesn't know . Whoever it is they know about it and they said they'll make sure my sister and all of her friends go to jail also ,if it was just me fine but they didn't do anything "

Mc " So what are you supposed to do"?

Phil " Seperate the two of you "

Mc " How "?

Phil " Act crazily obsessed with you ,clains I'm in love with you . The thing they know when the others are coming to visit you. When I refused to do it the first time Alan Came to question me said he heard rumours of me distributing drugs , I lied to get him to back off . The second time when i cornered you they had called me yo let me know i did a good job they saw it that i would need to up my craziness "

Jake " you said the house was bugged are you sure ot guessing "

Phil " it's either that ,or it's someone right in that group because after the fiasco where i kissed you " sorry about that MC " they said something to me and only if they saw what happened then they would saw that "

Jake " go back to Duskwood , get rid of everything, break the machines down and burn them , wash the entire basement with alcohol and hydrogen peroxide, even the walls . Then put random stuff in the boxes in the basement "

Phil " I'll need to shut off the cameras in the Aurora "

Jake " Don't I'll run  some interferences with the camera it'll be on but it won't record anything "

MC "  why are you helping him "

Jake " because i really don't want to go back to jail for murder "

Phil " Thank and again I'm really really really sorry MC i really am "

Mc " it's okay as long as you don't do it again "

Phil " that's the problem i may have to come back here "

Jake " go back and get started in the clean up we'll figure it out here "

Phil " thanks "

Jake " Phil , nobody is to know about this conversation "

He just nodded and left i looked at her she was quiet all the while i pulled her closer to me

Jake " you've been quiet love "

Mc " just thinking , something  about what phil said "

Jake " what do you mean "?

Mc " That day when he kissed me ,you ,me ,phil ,cleo ,jessy , Thomas and  Lilly were in the kitchen we came to the house after the others , they were upstairs getting packed to leave . Phil knew the exact moment we came through the door . That means this person is looking at us . And following us unless they've got cameras on us "

Jake " and if it turns out it's one of them "

Mc " I don't know babe , let's go home "

We left and headed home when we pulled into the driveway there was another car there a man was standing on the porch i told her to stay in the car and lock the door i got out and walked over

Jake " Can i help you with something "

Unknown man " you're Jake "

Jake " Depends on who's asking "

Unknown man " my name is Jason Niels my brother sent me "

Jake " Got an ID "

He handed me his Driver's license and business card, he was a PI  .

Jason " Marcus told me everything , I'm doing this as a favour to him ,he said you would fill me in on some details "

Jake " yes just give me a moment to get my wife settled in and we'll talk "
