My brother followed us a short distance to the airport. We took two cars. I was worried not only about what Richy and Dan would be doing and what they're capable of doing but also now the fact that I was pregnant. I didn't know what to think it was just all so blurry to me I can't believe I let this happen but it doesn't matter I would be keeping my child whether Jake comes back or not this was a part of him that I would always have with me

Lilly "  Are you okay mc ?"

MC "  I'm fine just a bit worried "

after we got to the airport Jen was waiting for us I walked over to her and I hugged her

MC "  thank you for doing this for me and my friends it really is a matter of life and death "

Jen " it's okay don't worry about anything i already called ahead and had the housekeeper set everything up for you guys "

I introduced her to everyone and then we boarded the jet and we left Jen's family Island is located in the midways of the Bahamas it's very secluded no one knew it was there and no one would know we were there while on the jet we just sat quietly because we didn't know what to think

MC "  So what is happening in the Duskwood ?"

Thomas " well after they escaped i don't know how Alan knew  but he came straight to us he came  to my workplace and he told me they escaped that we needed to get out they're going to launch a full-on-manhunt  for Dan  and Richy"

Hannah "  this isn't over not by a long shot they won't stop until we're all Dead  specially me and you MC and now with this new development you need to be careful "

Thomas "  what new development what are you talking about ?"

they all looked at me I could trust Thomas

MC " I'm pregnant "

Thomas "  okay should I congratulate you or is it something bad "

Cleo "  of course you have to congratulate her it's nothing bad having a child isn't anything bad"

Thomas " yeah but in the situation we're in right now do you think it's wise"

Lilly "  situation or not we'll be here for her "

Thomas " i didn't mean it like that it's just you need to be careful "

Mc " i will be , Has jake contacted any of you ? "

Hannah " No he hasn't "

Jessy " Oh god that means he doesn't know they escaped "

Cleo " you're right we had to leave all our phones behind and of he texts we won't know "

Lilly " oh crap "

Mc " i left my phone with Chris , he knows what to tell him if he calls or texts "

Jessy " okay "

We were quiet for the remainder of the flight when we got there ,we waited in the jet until dusk i wasn't taking any chances it was close to eight in the evening when we got to the pier  the boat was waiting to take us over to the island , i was paranoid as hell i kept looking around it was dark but you never know when we got to the island Marie was there waiting for us

Mc " Hello marie "

Marie " ah hello mc , it's been too long since I've seen you .how are you ? , and who are your friends "

I introduced her to everyone and we headed up to the house .

Jessy " i thought you said it was a island house , this is a damn mansion"

Thomas " are you sure your friend doesn't mind letting us stay here ?"

Mc " it's okay trust me , when i my life went south with jay ,i got away and came here "

Marie " jay is an ass he did not deserve you "

Mc " you can say that again "

Hannah " Who's Jay ?"

Mc " I'll tell you guys later "

We headed up and each took a room

Marie " dinner will be in half and hour "

Cleo " thank you marie but you don't have to stress yourself we can take care of ourselves "

Marie " i know but it's been a while since anyone came to the island besides it's my job and i love cooking for people "

Jessy " thank you "

We all went to our rooms and took a shower as I stood under the water. I couldn't help but  be worried. I don't know how I would protect them. I also needed to protect myself and the child I now had in me. Where was Jake ?  Was he safe? Was he okay? I really hope he was okay I didn't know if I would be able to do this if Lilly and Hannah and the others said they wouldn't stand by me I just wouldn't be able to do it alone I don't know how my mom is going to react or my brother for that fact I just pushed that thought to the side when the time came to deal with it I will deal with it either way I was not giving up this child for no one for anything this is a part of me and him but I missed him after my shower I threw on some sweatpants and I wore his hoodie I took it along with me because I needed it I needed that connection to him when I went downstairs they were all sitting on the patio  having drinks I just walked out and Sat on one of the chairs

Hannah " are you okay "

MC " yes I'm fine just a bit tired after today "

Lilly "  you should probably eat and then try to get some rest we'll be okay" 

MC "  yes I have a lot on my mind I'm not really sleepy though there's just too much to think about I'm worried about what Dan and Richy are about to do " 

Thomas "  they are going to look for us we're the ones they're looking for and they won't stop "

 MC "  I'm worried about your families  what if they can't get to us and they go after our families and friends "

Cleo "  I have been thinking about that too " 

Thomas  " we can only hope that they don't go after them "

 MC "  I wish they came here instead I don't mind hurting them "

Lilly " it's not about that but what if they hurt you ? "

Mc " I can handle that I'm not worried about that "

 Jessy "  you do realize that they were going to kill us that night right and you changed everything you helped us escape not only that  you also helped Hannah escape you found Hannah you ruined all of their plans, because of you they went to jail ,the entire Duskwood knows of all they did  and they're going to come after you . they're going to want revenge especially on you they won't stop at anything "

 MC "  I know but there's nothing I can do about it if they find us they find us when that time comes we'll take care of it " 

Hannah " So who's jay ? "

Mc " Jay was my boyfriend we were together for almost one year we broke up a little over eight months ago "
