MC

Jake was being Mean  I wanted to go for a walk but he wouldn't let me

Mc " I don't see what's wrong with me wanting to go for a walk "

Jake " really , look at your feet and then answer "

He was right, my feet were swollen, they have been for the past two months ,the doctor told me that I had to cut out the salt from my food .That shit didn't taste so good . I was past my due date, I don't know how but  the others found out I was pregnant and since then they've been persistent  they were here setting up the nursery ,i was to stay away from Phil because apparently we got into trouble . I walked into the office and stood there looking at him. He hadn't changed one bit, still the same . His hair was too long ,he needed a haircut ,he had  started going to the gym with Chris lord knows why he was already perfect.

Mc " jake "

He just looked up at me and smiled

Jake " yes love "

Mc " can you make me some tacos  , I'm hungry ,and i want some really really bad please "

Jake "  okay let's go , call your brother or he'll have another fit if he finds out i made and didn't call him "

Mc " okay "

Jake and my brother had this weird relationship I don't know what it was but once jake made tacos and didn't tell him ,he didn't speak to either of us , he would still come every Saturday morning banging on the room door , he would make breakfast for us and himself he would eat then leave without saying a word . That went on for an entire two month until Jake made tacos for him and took it over to the fire station  then they were back to normal . They would go out on Saturday evenings I don't know where and didn't care as long as they were getting along . One weekend they both came home drunk. Drunk jake was fun. Jake had finally cracked and told me about Thomas because I hadn't seen him and thought he was busy . But when Jake told me I felt hurt to know he would Risk so much for love.

I sat on the stool watching him cook

Mc " She doesn't want to come out "

Jake " she'll be here soon enough "

JAKE

I made her what she wanted , ten minutes later Chris came through the door

Chris " where's mine i gotta head back to the station , we've got training "

Jake " why are you always hungry "

Chris " whatever thanks for the tacos ,  we are still going out tonight right "?

Jake " nope she's past her due date she can go into labor any day now I don't need to be drunk when that happens"

Chris " fine ,laters "

He just grabbed the food and left the others came downstairs 

Lilly " what's going on "?

Mc " tacos "

Phil " I'll get in on that "

He tried to take one from her plate and she went to hit his hand. She leaned back a bit too far and almost fell over. Luckily Phil caught her in time.

Phil " Jesus mc relax "

Mc " Jake my water just broke "

Jake " shit "

I turned off the stove and went over to her

Jessica " we'll get her bags "

I got her into the car and drove to the hospital she let out a scream that terrified me and made me let go of the steering wheel
