that's it I've had enough Phil get the hell out of my kitchen ,Ava go play

Ava " otay "

God, I was losing my mind. They made me feel like I was in a mental Asylum . They came to visit and it's always the same .Jake wasn't home he had to go to work  we were all okay Ava was over one and i never realised a one year old child could get up to that much shit especially if Phil was around i was cooking and they decided it would be  a good  idea to pop confetti cannons in the kitchen .  I just stood there looking at the mess.

Lilly " what happened "?

Mc " look "

Lilly " Ava did you do this "?

She was hiding behind phil

Ava " no he did "

I just rolled my eyes because that's always the answer . Jake was still working for the FBI and doing other things . Jessy had stopped working at the Junkyard . I don't know what was going on with her and Chris but I wasn't getting involved in that . Cleo well She's Cleo and Lilly was the same. She was crazy about Ava. She bought one of these big ass makeup kits for Ava and the two of them would play.

Cleo was only too happy to have someone to bake for all her crazy new recipes and Jessy she's already planning a vacation . Phil was another issue  . He called her everyday to talk to her and when they were together it was as if a tornado passed through our house. Sometimes it drives me nuts . Hannah was still there not getting better . Still the same way I felt bad for her but then i would remember that  she was the reason we Lost our baby . Thomas I don't know. I stopped asking about him  a long time ago. I had everything I could ever want , an amazing husband ,a sweet and adorable little girl and friends that became Family i didn't need anything else .

JAKE

When I left this morning for work I knew what the state of the house would be looking like. I finished my work earlier than I thought I would now I'm hiding out at the firestation.

Chris " what are you doing here "?

Jake " the Duskwood troup is here and the house will probably be in shambles , I don't feel like seeing that right now "

Chris " I'mma call mc and tell her you're her "

I just looked at him and grabbed my backpack .

Jake " fine I'll go home ,guess what i would've made tacos for you but never mind "

I walked out laughing when i got home i heard them before i saw them Phil and mc yelling at each other when i opened the door lilly and cleo were sitting there watching tv

Lilly " hey big brother "

Jake " hey what's going on "?

Cleo " don't know "

I walked into the kitchen i had to whistle to get them to stop .i pointed at mc 

Jake " you pipe down ,what the hell is happening here "?

Mc " umm "

Yep i thought so

Phil " she wouldn't let me give Ava cookies "

I just shook my head

Ava " Dada Dada "

I heard her little feet running towards me i turned around and picked her up

Jake " you missed me princess "?

Ava " yes ,dada come play "

Jake " let's go play princess , who made a mess"

Ava " Ava did and uncle phil "

Jake " i see , why is it that whenever you're here my daughter acts up "

Phil " cause I'm the fun uncle "

I left them and took my daughter upstairs she wanted to have a tea party I've learned the hard way that you do not say no to a tea party , phil and Chris learnt that too they bent over backwards for her the first time i ever made her cry was when i told her no she couldn't paint my nails .we had dinner in the backyard it was noisy as always but it was normal . She was tired from running around all day. She was out by eight .

After the house was quiet I went in to check on her. I loved her so much I stood there looking at her .mc found me standing there.

Mc " i missed you today "

I hugged her to me

Jake " I missed you too  ,was she any trouble "?

Mc " you know she isn't only when Phil is here "

Jake " thank you love "

Mc " for what "

Jake " for saving me ,for giving me everything I never knew I wanted . True love ,a family , friends and you and Ava "

Mc " let's go to bed "

I went to bed with my wife. Never in my wildest dreams could I ever imagine having this perfect life but I did all thanks to her .
