JAKE

I loved her so much At that moment . I made love to her in the moonlight. She was perfect and she was mine. We laid there just holding each other .

Jake " i never want to be without you mc never ,"

Mc " Neither do i Jake "

Jake " i want to get married "

MC "  wait what ,? You still want to do that "?

Jake " of course ,i do  " 

5 weeks later

We were still on the island. She was my MC again ,I know she hasn't forgotten about what happened ,I didn't either, it was always at the back of my mind but she was okay now. She was antsy as hell  i saw her huffing as she walked on the beach  whatever was bothering she would tell me when she's ready ,it was  seven in the morning i stood by the window looking at her she was just walking on the beach i saw her double over i didn't think i ran through the door and found her throwing up 

Jake " Babe are you okay what happened "?

Mc " I don't know , i just feel nauseous all of a sudden "

I know she hadn't eaten anything for the morning so what

MC

I was antsy as hell i wanted to get back home ,i was worried as also ,my period was three weeks late and i was scared i was  taking a walk because i needed to think properly when a sudden wave of nausea  over took  me i couldn't do anything but double over and throw up violently within minutes jake was by my side .he helped me up to the room i went into the bathroom and left him outside i locked the door and grabbed my makeup bag i pulled out the pregnancy test that i had left there .i prayed a silent prayer I don't know what i was praying for . I left it on the counter and waited  jake was knocking on the door 

Jake " babe are you okay "?

Mc " yea I'm fine " 

What seemed like forever i picked up the test  when i looked at it double lines i was pregnant again i was scared . What would he say i braced against the counter  I didn't know how to feel

Jake " babe is everything okay "?

I didn't know what to say ,what answer  to give him , would he be angry ?.

Jake " babe open the door "

I opened the door and walked out he just stood there looking at me

Jake " What's wrong  ? Talk to me love"?

I handed him the pregnancy test he just looked at it 

Jake " is this what i think it is ?

Mc " I'm pregnant " 

He just walked over to me and hugged me 

Mc " I'm scared jake "

Jake " why "?

Mc " what if she does it again, I can't lose another child Jake i can't "

Jake " you won't ,we won't i promise you love "

Mc " you're not mad "?

Jake " No love I'm happy , we're getting a second chance love ,this is our second chance "

Mc " I don't want anyone to know not even my mom "

Jake " why not "?

Mc " i just don't "

Jake " okay love , we'll need to go back ,i have work  and you'll need to see a doctor "

Mc " okay "

JAKE

The minute she handed it to me I knew what it was, thank god that was it , her being pregnant and nothing else she didn't want anyone to know and that was fine by me. She had already called jen and told her we would need to leave today so that was arranged. I packed our stuff and left them downstairs i made sure everywhere was locked up i found her standing outside on the patio I walked up and hugged her 

Jake " talk to me love "

Mc " promise me something "

Jake " Anything love "

Mc " Promise me you'll protect our child Jake , promise me we won't lose him or her , promise that Hannah won't ever come back into our lives . If this happens again Jake I'll die i won't be able to live if this happens all over again "

I turned her around to face me she was crying i wiped the tears from her face

Jake " I promise you we'll never hear about or see Hannah ever again ,I promise you we won't lose our child ,I promise I'll always be here for both of you ,I promise I'll always protect both of you ."

Mc " i love you "

Jake " i love you too , please don't cry i know you're hurt and scared . I am too I don't like seeing you like this it makes me feel like I'm failing " 

Mc " I'm Sorry , I'll stop " 

We got back home at ten in the evening. She called her mom to let her know we were home the next morning when we woke up to someone banging on the room door .

Mc " cut it out Chris "

Chris " you've been gone long enough, I'm in the kitchen "

Jake " lets see what happens when you actually have a girlfriend I'll do the same shit to you "

He started laughing even the though the door wasn't locked he didn't open it .

Chris " yeah right like I'll ever give either of you a key , you promised me tacos jake i didn't get them "

She just shook her head and walked out when I got into the kitchen. He was at the stove , I sat next to her .

Jake " don't you have a house "?

Chris " yes but your house is always full so why waste my money when i can eat here "

He handed her a cup of coffee she passed it off to me  

Mc " I'm going to take a shower the two of you can continue " 

After she left i walked out to make sure she was gone when i went back onto the kitchen he was looking at me

Chris " spill it , i saw that shit she never ever shares her coffee , not once has she ever shared her coffee "

Jake " She's pregnant ,no one not even your mother should know that's the way she wants it and you don't know either "

Chris " got it " 

Jake " what's been happening since we've been away "?

He filled me in on everything which wasn't much after breakfast  we headed to the doctor she was just two weeks pregnant she had a ton of prenatal vitamins when we left she was smiling  i had already checked the nursery Chris had already cleaned it removed all the baby stuff and repainted it he said he stored it away if she asked for it ,he didn't want it there as a reminder of what we lost . I was grateful for that .this was our second chance i was was pretty fucking adamant i wasn't allowing anyone or anything to fuck this up  . I intended to be happy and keep her happy and i don't care what i have to do to make it possible.
