TROUBLE

It's been One month since it all happened  Lilly and the others would be here tomorrow for the weekend i was heading over to my house  to get things straightened for their arrival ,my mom was okay with everything she spoke to jake too , chris didn't Want me driving alone so we were on our way there when we pulled into my driveway was looked different

Mc " Chris something is wrong "

Chris " what do you mean ?"

Mc " nevermind i haven't been here a while so it feels different "

That wasn't it we walked up the stairs before i could take the key out i noticed the door was open

Chris " go back to the car  let me make a walk through "

Mc " what no this is my house"

I didn't want to believe my eyes when i opened the door my entire living room was trashed

Chris " I'm calling uncle Greg"

Who would do something like this ? Crime was non-existent in this town , there's a few drunks ,a few bar fights but nobody That would do something like this just then my phone started ringing it startled me

Mc " Hello "

Jake " Hello princess "

Mc " Hey "

Jake " is That all I get ?"

Mc " sorry I'm just a bit shocked "

Jake " what happened ?"

So i told him what happened

Jake " Are you there alone ?"

Mc " no Chris is here ,je just call my uncle "

Jake " please be careful love ,how are you feeling ?"

Mc " I'm okay , Lilly and the others will be coming tomorrow for the weekend so i just came to get things set for them "

Jake " please be careful , i miss you I'm  patiently  waiting  for the time to pass so i can see you again"

Mc " i miss you too ,and I'm waiting also "

Jake " Princess is Phil coming too ?"

Mc " No I don't think so , why ?"

Jake " nothing "

Mc " jake ,no just no don't even go there don't think like that ,i love you and only you nothing will ever change that "

Jake " i know it's just damnit nevermind i love you I'll talk to you next week okay and please be careful"

Mc " i love you too bye "

After I hung up I just stood there. He was worried about Phil. He had told me about the dream. I get why he was worried. I saw the police car pull up to the curb my uncle walked in. He was my father's brother.

Greg " Are you okay mc "

Mc." No , look at my house, who would do something like this ?"

Greg " is anything missing ?"

Mc " i don't know i haven't checked it as  yet "

Greg " okay why don't you check that and I'll speak to the neighbors "

At the end of the day we still didn't know who did it , nothing was missing i was frustrated i needed to do some shopping so Chris took me to the supermarket while shopping i had the feeling of being watched ,i always went with my feelings it helped me out of some really sticky situation when i turned around jay was in the supermarket he acted like he didn't see me i hurried and shopped and got out of there he was standing in line to check out . On our way back to the house Chris was quiet and that wasn't like him.
