At the Fire Lord's beach house, Aang and Zuko continue their firebending training as Nico, Katara and Toph watched.

"Doesn't it seem kind of weird that we're hiding from the Fire Lord in his own house?" Katara comments.

"I told you, my father hasn't come here since our family was actually happy. And that was a long time ago. It's the last place anyone would think to look for us." Zuko says.

Sokka and Suki return from the walk around the city.

"You guys are not gonna believe this," Sokka yells in excitement. "There's a play about us."

"We were just in town, and we found this poster." Suki said as Sokka flashed them the poster.

"What? How is that possible?" Katara asks.

"Listen to this." Sokka says as he reads the poster. "The boy in the iceberg is a new production from acclaimed playwright Puan Tin, who scoured the globe, gathering information on the Avatar, from the icy South Pole to the heart of Ba Sing Se. His sources include singing nomads, pirates, prisoners of war and a surprisingly knowledgeable merchant of cabbage."

"Brought to you by the critically acclaimed ember island players." Suki finishes.

"Ugh," Zuko groans. "My mother used to take us to seem them. They butchered Love Amongst the Dragons every year."

"Sokka, do you really think it's a good idea for us to attend a play about ourselves?" Katara asked.

"Come on, a day at the theater? This is the kind of wacky time-wasting nonsense I've been missing."

That night, everyone had dressed in their fire nation attire.

Once in the theater Nico, Suki, and Sokka slide in the back row, while everyone else sat in the front.

Aang tries to sit next to Katara, but Zuko takes the seat first. "Hey, uh, I wanted to sit there."

"Just sit next to me." Zuko said removing his cloak's hoodie. "What's the big deal?"

Aang began to stutter. "I was just..I wanted to..ok." He said sitting down.

Nico slapped the back of Zuko's head. "Hey, what was that for?" he asked rubbing his head.

"For being clueless." Nico jokingly whispered.

"Why are we sitting in the nosebleed section?" Toph asks. "My feet can't see a thing from up here."

"Don't worry." Katara reassures. "I'll tell your feet what's happening."

The opening begins with Sokka and Katara in a canoe; the real Sokka and Katara get excited.

"Sokka, my only brother. We constantly roam these icy south poles seas and yet, never do we find anything fulfilling." Actress Katara dramatically says.

"All I want is a full feeling in my stomach." Actor Sokka says. "I'm starving."

The crowd begins to burst into laughter.

Nico and Suki look at each other and try to hide their giggles.

"Is food the only thing on your mind?"

"Well, I'm trying to get it out of my mind and into my mouth. I'm starving."

"This is pathetic," Sokka yells to the group. "My jokes are way funnier than this."

Toph giggles. "I think he's got your pegged."

"Everyday, the world awaits a beacon to guide us, yet non appears. Still we cannot give up hope, for hope is all we have. And we must never relinquish it, even..." Katara begins to cry. "Even to our dying breath."
