Chapter 35- The Missing Avatar

In the morning, everyone was gathered in front of the beach house as they "watched" Aang practice his firebending while Zuko yelled at him.

"Now let me hear you roar like a tiger dillo."

"Roar." Aang weakly roared.

"That sounded pathetic." Nico screamed as she braids Sokka's hair.

Zuko turned to Nico and gave her a thumbs up. "I said, roar!"

"Nico, you're gripping too tight." Sokka whined.

"I'm almost done."

"Who wants a nice cool glass of watermelon juice?" Katara cheerfully asked.

"Ooh, Ooh, me, me, me!" Aang says, running towards the drink, only to be held back by Zuko.

"Hey, your lessons not over yet! Get back here!"

"Come on, Zuko, just take a break. What's the big deal?" Suki asks.

Zuko growls letting go of Aang. "Fine. If you wanna lounge around like a bunch of snail sloths all day, then go ahead!"

"You're being dramatic." Nico yells as Zuko storms away.

"Ow!" Sokka whines taking his hair back. "You are never touching my hair again!" Sokka cries taking out the braid.

"But maybe Zuko's right." Sokka continues. "Sitting around the house has made us pretty lazy, but I know just the way to change that," he quickly ripped off his tunic revealing his swimwear. "Beach party!"

Everyone changes into their bathing suits as they head to the beach.

Nico grabbed her sunglasses and sat beside Suki as they began to tan.

Through her shades, Nico could see Sokka walking back and forth, collecting seaweed. "What in the name of spirits is he doing?"

"I don't know," Suki responds. "But just smile and wave."

Nico turns around to see Sokka building some sort of monster with water, sand, and seaweed. She glanced over at Aang and Toph's sand sculptures.

Nico jokingly nudged Suki. "Think your boyfriend can top that?"

Suki slightly gasped. "Oh, and where is your boyfriend?"

"Touché." Nico sighs putting on her sunglasses.

Aang and Toph then walk over to Sokka. "Try and beat that Sokka."

"Ta-da!" Sokka cheers, showing us the sculpture.

"Is that a blubbering blob monster?"

"No." Sokka responded.

"Is it Katara?" Nico laughs.

"No, it's Suki!" Sokka yells stomping his feet to the sand.

Everyone begins to uncontrollably laugh. "Suki, we understand if you break up with him over this."

"I think it's sweet." Suki smiles.

Sokka rushes over to Suki, smooching her cheek.

"But it doesn't even look like-" Aang was interrupted by a huge fireball hurling towards monster Suki.

More flames were being shot in the air. Nico slid her sunglasses on top of her head to see what was going on.

"What are you doing?" Aang asks running away.

"Teaching you a lesson." Zuko responds.

"Aww." Nico silently cooed. "They're playing hide and seek." And then puts back her sunglasses and begins to tan.
