Chapter 1: Memory Lost

Liv and Liam are on the side of the road with a flat tire. Liv looks out into the road and hears something. Liam says, "What?" Liv says, "I just thought I heard something. It's probably nothing." Liam says, "It's okay. Your still getting use to your hearing." Liv nods and says, "Yeah. Although we should have taken my car. Like I said. Several times." Liam says, "It's a new car." Liv says, "It was new to someone. About twenty years ago." Liam chuckles mockingly and Liv laughs. Liam goes to check the trunk and comes back with a frown. Liam says, "There's no jack." Liv lifts the car and says, "As if we ever needed one. Grab the spare." Liam chuckles and leaves to grab the spare and comes back empty handed. Liv says, "No spare?" Liam shakes his head and says, "No spare." Liv then sets the car down. Liam says, "I know. Worst date ever." Liv says, "It's not that bad. We've had worse. Remember the double date?" Liam says, "What about New Year's?" Liv says, "Christmas with your parents." Liam says, "That time Stiles..." Liv groans and says, "Please don't say it." Liam chuckles and says, "Actually, this could be our best date yet. I mean, were celebrating our one year together." Liv smiles and says, "Yeah. I can't believe we've been together that long. This has been the longest relationship I have been in." Liam smiles and says, "Yeah and I'm glad it's with me." Liv smiles and kisses Liam. Liv wraps her arms around Liam's neck and he sighs contently in the kiss. They look up at the sky and Liv says, "It must be the Northern Lights." They then see a car coming and Liv says, "Hmm, Maybe they've got a spare." Liv waves her hand and the car doesn't stop until it hits a fence. They walk towards the car and see the windshield shattered. Liam opens the car door and a kid comes out in goes into Liv's arms. The kid frighteningly says, "Don't let them take me! Don't let them take me too." They look down the road and wonder what the kid is talking about. Liv softly says, "Hey, we won't let anything happen to you." The kids nods and Liv looks in the cars trunk for a spare. Liv puts the spare onto Liam's car. They get in and Liv gets into the back with the kid and says, "Liam, drive to my dad. He'll know what to do." Liam nods and goes. Liv says, "So, what's your name?" The kid softly says, "Alex." Liv says, "Hi, Alex. I'm Liv." Alex says, "Hi." They then make to the sheriff station to drop the kid off with her dad. Alex latches on Liv's hand and says, "Please, don't leave me." Liv looks down at Alex and says, "Okay." Liv looks at Liam and says, "I'll see you later." Liam nods and gives Liv a peck on the lips. Liv waits in her fathers office with Alex. Her dad crouches in front of Alex and says, "Alex, you know we're having trouble locating your parents. And since you can't remember anything, we have a method, an unusual method that might help you remember. But I need you to be okay with it. I also need you to know that it's probably gonna hurt." Alex says, "I don't care. I just want to find my mom and dad." Then she sees Stiles and Scott walk in. Scott says, "You ready?" Alex looks at Liv and says, "Can I hold your hand?" Liv nods and softly says, "Yeah." Liv stands next to Alex and holds his hand. Alex looks at Scott and says, "I'm ready." Scott then sinks his claws in the back of Alex's head. Some time later, Scott gets out of Alex's head and Stiles says, "What'd you see?" Scott says, "I saw a guy on a horse." Stiles says, "Horse?" Scott says, "He had a gun." Their dad says, "Okay, a guy with a gun. That sounds like my department, not yours." Liv says, "What about his parents? What happened to them?" Scott says, "I don't know. That's all I remember. But... I got this feeling." Their dad says, "What kind of feeling?" Alex then suddenly says, "They're coming back. They're coming for me." Liv doesn't want to leave Alex alone and her dad says, "Liv, honey, go home. I have it handled." Liv sighs and says, "Okay."
