she lays there with skin like ice
eyes open, unmoving, lifeless
body resting on a cold metal table
her chest is still but cracked
no signs of a once living girlthe scalpel tears open her chest
breaking open her rib cage
her once red heart
is now grey and on displaythey say it weakened as time went on
with no one to love her
no one to hold hershe was lonely
and her heart continued to break
piece by bloody piece
until finally her heart stopped beating
