if i was your girlfriend
you'd never have to worry,
i wouldn't accuse you of things,
i wouldn't control you,
i wouldn't be obsessive
but I can't promise that i won't be clingy.
i would love you unconditionally,
never make you worry about disloyalty.
you would be the only person on
my mind and in my heart, always.
i would never do anything to
purposely hurt you, i wouldn't lay
a harmful hand on you.
i would hold you as long as possible,
protect you, keep you safe in my arms.
nobody would get the chance to hurt
you ever again or try to bring you down.
i would make you feel the happiest
you've ever been because not only
will i tell you how much you mean
to me, but i'll show you even more
than i'll tell you. i know that you aren't
use to that and it might scare you but
it is something that you deserve.
i'll cook you dinner or make you
breakfast first thing in the morning,
run you a hot bath after a long hard day,
press kisses all over your face whenever
you might start to feel stressed or
overwhelmed by life.
with me, you'd be free.
we'd have to learn to trust each other
and never doubt one another for a second.
we might be different but opposites
create the most beautiful chemistry.
if we had the chance to love,
i know it would have been a love
like no other, one they'd write about someday. a love people would want
and desire because as humans
we always want the things that are
hard to get.
