avoiding sleep,
cause i know i'll dream.
dream of you.the way you'd gently
touch my hair and move it aside.caress my cheek
with the palm of your hand.your lips pressing against mine,
soft but forceful, provocative but modest.the sun shining down on us as your
hands trail over my skin.but i'll wake up,
knowing what was real
and what wasn't.
the sun wasn't shining,
but you, you were real.
