and that's okay but
i've come to terms with being alone
yes, i've dreamed and craved for a
love that makes me feel like i'm
floating or surrounded by butterflies
in an open field in the middle of spring
the thing is, i don't think i'll find that again
and that's okay with me because
i like being alone
i like it when it's just me and my dog
she won't hurt me the way i have been in the past
being alone is peaceful
it's freedom
you can be unapologetically yourself
dance in your underwear
sing as loud as you can in the shower
close the curtains and walk around naked
do whatever feels liberating for you
no judgement
being alone isn't as bad as it seems
