Chapter 2- Bad News

     The hallways of the 'Heavenly Residence' of the divine royal family were as marvellous as ever. The tapping sound of footsteps could be heard through them.
     Wearing a worried expression, a man enters the Grand Hall and bows before the Lord sitting on the throne.
The lord dressed in white silk robe which is said to be found only in heavens and a face that looks not a day older than 30 but is actually millions of years old .The calm expression of the lord changes soon as he saw the tensed look on his general's face .
       "Long live the Lord " the general says which in itself is quite inappropriate since the being in front of him is a divine creature.
        " Greetings General Shah, what brings you here at this time of the day?"
        " My deepest apologies, Your Majesty, for bringing you this bad news!"
         " Huh?, What makes you so worried, General?", asks the now tensed king.
         " Your Majesty, I am afraid we can't control the situation at the northern border of the Heavens."
         " What!?, don't tell me there were trespassings again?!"
         " Yes, Your Majesty, the demonic rebels just broke the barrier and are actively harming the peace of the area."
         " Does Lord Driman know about it? Haven't we sent warnings about the rule violations?"
        " We have ,My Lord . I am afraid it all falls on deaf ears since Lord Driman has been gravely unwell and General Shen has been attending to the duties in his absence from the court."
        "So asking the demon court would be pointless, huh? Hmmm, it's really bad. We can't ask the human Lord Phil to interfere ; Things will take an even worse turn if we do . We can't ask for peacemakers since the raged demons might declare a war and since General Shen is handling the affairs,it's even possible."
        "What are we going to do now, Your Majesty?"
        "We aren't going to hide and be silent. It must have been a failure of mine in my duties that it  triggered the rebels. I must go there myself and check what's wrong.."
        " But, Your Majesty, you can't possibly go alone. It's too risky!"
       " No, I cannot take men with me! If I do it will mark a wrong impression on them and things might get physical. Such , it will only make matters worse. I will tell them that I would solve their queries and no one should resort to violence."
       "But, Your Majesty, isn't it too dange............"
       " I know what you are implying General Shah, don't worry , I promise nothing will happen to me and I will come back intact."
       " At least let me accompany you!"
       " No way , General, you please stay here and fulfill your duties. I will handle the affairs there."
    Saying this the Lord patted the general on the shoulder and disappeared in a smoke cloud.
