Chapter 17

OUTSIDE the foster home, Harley was looking for Ryder. She also had the kids search for him around the house. Dylon walked into the garage and saw Ryder's iPad.
"What's his iPad doing here?" Dylon said, picking it up. "This iPad is all mines". He opened up the iPad and saw that Ryder had been on the internet searching about Adventure Bay.
"I see, he's trying to escape" Dylon said. Dylon took the iPad with him and ran to the house.
"Harley, look what I found!" Dylon said.

"What is it Dylon?" Harley asked. "I found Ryder's iPad and I saw that he was on the internet searching about Adventure Bay. I think he escaped during the night" Dylon said.
"I better call the police" Harley said. "Can I have his iPad?" Dylon asked.
"Since your the one who figured out where Ryder went, you can keep it" Harley said.

"Yes! I've been wanting this iPad!" Dylon said. Harley pulled out her phone from her pocket and called the police.

Harley: Hi sir, I have an emergency.

Policeman: What happened?

Harley: Well, this morning when I was waking up all the kids, I didn't see Ryder in his bed. I looked around the entire house but couldn't find him anywhere.
Me and the kids went outside to search for him. Dylon found his iPad in the old garage next to the foster house. When he went in the iPad, Google was open. He saw that Ryder had been searching about Adventure Bay. He has definitely escaped but I don't know why he would leave his iPad in the garage and all his stuff in the house.

Policeman: Don't worry, leave this to us.

Harley: Thank you so much.

Chase and Marshall made it out of animal hospital without being caught by the veterinarians who were after them. "We need a faster way to get away" Marshall said. "How about that motorcycle?" Chase said.
"Are you crazy?" Marshall said. "Your gonna get us into another accident".

"Here they come!" Chase said, seeing the veterinarians run out of the hospital. "To the motorcycle!" Chase barked.
"You can go on that thing but I'm not" Marshall said, watching Chase leap onto motorcycle.

"Marshall, you can't outrun them! Your too clumsy!" Chase said. "Look out!".
Marshall titled his head to see the people getting closer. "Fine, I'm going with you" Marshall said, then leaped onto the motorcycle with Chase. Chase started the engine and took off.

"Ahhhh!" Marshall screamed. "You better hang on tight" Chase said. The motorcycle was going so fast, Chase accidentally hit a man, sending the man flying.
The veterinarian lady called the police.

Veterinarian: Hi sir, the pups that were suppose to be put down made a quick runaway and are now driving Down Town on a motorcycle.

Policeman: We're coming.

Evening took over the afternoon. Ryder and Skye had finished building a small canoe. "Phew, that was a lot of work" Ryder said. Skye was panting heavily.
"Why don't we go to the lair to take shelter from the sun?" Ryder said. "Good idea, I really need to get away from this sun" Skye panted.

Ryder and Skye walked into the pocket of trees where Skye's lair was hidden.
"It's so much more cooler in here" Skye said. "So when are we gonna start heading to Adventure Bay?".
"I don't the way to Adventure Bay, so how are we gonna get there?" Ryder asked. "I think I still remember" Skye said. "You think?" Ryder said.

"It's been two years since I got stranded on this island" Skye said. "I guess if you remember we can give this a try" Ryder unsurely said, "I just hope we don't get lost and face the same fate that your owner and his friend faced".
"You don't have to worry. You've went through so many crazy situations and survived" Skye said, "your a hero".
