August 16th.

4:28 am

I'm wide awake,

in the middle of the night.

And I can't help but question myself;

did anyone had the strong desire to do something,

but felt nothing when they attempted to do so?

The sun was still hiding,

and even though it's summer,

the faint sound of raindrops hitting my window became clear music to my ears.

It was just a subtle monsoon rain,

so the rain was barely even there.

It was just raindrops pattering that I heard,

so little and so gentle.

I couldn't sleep,

so I just decided to enjoy the weather.

My oversized hoodie lay just about where my shorts are,

but I still headed out.

I grabbed an umbrella just in case the rain decides to fall hard here in Seoul,

and with that, I stepped out on my little journey.
