You extended your hand as you flashed your signature smile.

"I'm Yoo Mirae." For the first time in a while, I finally smiled— one that wasn't forced.

"You have a cute name." You giggled before stuffing your mouth with the cake you ordered.

I swear that when you did that, you got me feeling like an arrow struck my heart.

I didn't know that someone like you would be so addicted to a strawberry shortcake to the point that you kept complimenting its flavour and how you felt bad for ruining the way it looked.

"Ooh, and you see that shop over there? I saw someone yesterday with a tissue stuck in his trousers..." You pointed over somewhere outside as you continued to blabber about something I don't even listen to,

I hate to break the ambiance, but I'm not even paying attention to your little stories, Heeseung.

I was too occupied with appreciating your presence— or rather, your antics.

Even if I found no reason for you to smile,

your eyes and lips are always curved upwards.

I notice how much you shuffle from your seat.

you must be eager to always do or say something.

When you were too focused on explaining things, your hands would subconsciously move in the air,
