I didn't want to bump into you nor did I really want to leave my home.

Just like that, I broke off that silent agreement between us.

I never bothered visiting the cafè.

Sleep, wake up, stare off the wall, cry, then repeat.

That had been my routine after locking myself up for a week now.

Well, it's not like I haven't been that way before one week.

I've been like that ever since I chose to be too selfless.

It's just that you've changed me for some time,

and undoubtedly you would have changed my life,

if not for the fact that you're friends with the person who tore my heart apart.

However, today was an unluckily day,

I ran out of snacks to ease my late night break downs,

so I quickly went towards a nearby convenience store to prevent a midnight crisis later on.

I got what I needed and left.

But as I walked,

A familiar figure is what I see from a distance.

I squinted my eyes to see further,

only to see you.

You were nearing my way and I was just about to turn around and pretend I never saw you,

but then I heard your soft sobs.

I looked at you,

and saw how you looked.

I sighed,

Why am I always too selfless for my own good?
