I was at the DX because my car broke down. I was checking out my stuff when I saw the cashier for the first time. "All set?" He asked. I nodded and smiled. "Your total is $9.00," He flashed his smile. That smile of his but movie stars to shame. I took my items and walked out to the garage, where Steve was working on my car. "How's it goin', Stevie?" I asked. "Pretty good. Just a few more things and you'll be good to go, Sweetie." He said, I could practically hear his smirk. Steve and I have been friends for a while. "Hey Steve," I heard a familiar voice. I turned around to see the cashier. "Hey Soda, this is Y/n. Y/n this is Sodapop, he's a buddy of mine." Steve stated, still working on my car. "Nice to meet you," I said with a smile. "Nice to meet you too." He flashed that movie star smile. Oh glory, he's kinda cute. "Earth to Y/n!" Steve yelled at me. I snapped back to reality to see Steve in front of me. "I'm not dad," I said with a chuckle. Steve went back to working on my car. Sodapop and I talked.
I left the DX that day with Soda's number.
