(A/n): I won't do any authors notes for a while, I promise. Like I won't make a whole chapter for a/n

I was going to Buck's party tonight. My parents left me a few years ago and I've just been hanging around Tusla, getting whatever I can. I recently got a job and I was celebrating my success. I got a drink and just sat around. One person tried hitting on me. I just ignored him. Someone with dark brown, almost black, hair, dark eyes, and a jean jacket sat next me me. "Hey there doll," he said. I could practically hear the smirk in his voice. "What's a pretty lady like you doing 'round here?" I took a small sip of my drink. "Celebrating." I said in probably the most sarcastic tone ever. I was mostly sitting around contemplating life. "You don't look like your celebration. Sitting here with a sad look and a drink isn't very exciting." He spoke. I turned to him and looked into his eyes. "You're Dallas Winston?" I smirked. "Is the Dallas Winston going soft on me?" He smiled slightly and shook his head. "Nah man, I'd never go soft. Like you said I'm the Dallas Winston. I never go soft." I took another sip of my drink. "C'mon doll, let's go lighten your mood and dance." He held out his hand and led me to the dance floor. I could tell he didn't dance much. "You dance much?" I ask. "Nope, I've never danced. Except maybe when I was a kid, but other than that I've never danced." I guided his hands to where the were supposed to go. We danced and hungout. I was genuinely happy, it was nice to get out of my apartment. We sat back at the bar. "I've never seen Ol' Dal dance since he moved here." The bartender smirked. "Shut it buck." Dallas groaned.

Dallas and I had talked for the remainder of the night until Buck had told me it was time for him to close up. "She's stayin' with me tonight, Buck." Dallas told him and grabbed my arm. "Wait, I am?" Dallas nodded and smiled. He dragged me up to the room Buck let him stay in. The second the door shut, his lips crashed into mine. His hands were roaming my body when he suddenly pulled away. "Why'd you stop?" I asked, genuinely confused. He took my hands and smiled. "Would ya be my girl, Y/n?" That was the first time he used my name that night. "I- I dunno.." I looked down. He lifted my chin and looked into my eyes. "We'll take it slow, doll." I smiled at him. "I suppose I'll be your girl, Dally."
