The tenson in the arena had neared its peak with neither fighter moving an inch from place but just stood still glaring a hole in their opponent, Dom was as tense as ever only being able to move his gaze when he also felt Ino getting tense through the connection with his arm and her now whole upper body leant up against it. To be honest it made him embarrassed to have a girl sticking that close to him as he never really known what to do in a situation such as this one, up till his new team was formed he had gotten zero interaction with girls his age other than Ayame from the ramen shop. It was such an unexpected way Ino had behaved when she woke up and practically showed him affection on a level of which he had never felt it before, even now he could almost feel the rhythm of her breath going with he heartbeat. With a firm blush he snapped himself out of that train of thoughts before they lead to something indecent which he would hate himself for in the long run. Instead, he just turned his attention back to the arena and didn't notice the embarrassed blush and smile that was plastered onto Ino's face at the moment as she had noticed him staring at her before he clearly blushed to a way large extend than ever before. For once in a long time, she felt a feeling of slight appreciation rolling over her, Sasuke had always just ignored her attempts of doing this causing her confidence and girly mentality to take a hit each time. But right now, in front of her, one of her closest had reacted in such a way making her tingle all over with the feeling of happiness over getting a reaction out of a guy with her antics. She could almost feel her confidence building up already but decided that this would be the most affectionate thing she would do right now. Seeing as the fight between the two now finally seemed to start getting under way though she had already decided to keep her firm hold around his arm with a satisfied grin and feeling of calm coursing through her.
The two containers kept staring each other down for a few seconds more before the sound of a crack from one of the previous matches could be heard and was the starting signal for them. Fuu shot forward at low chunin levels of speed and went for the first attack, Yugito's eyes could follow her all the way through her motion and stepped to the side in order to avoid the attack. Quickly the blond followed up with a side kick aimed at Fuu's side while she was slightly off balance, in return Fuu managed to twist her body and grab ahold of Yugito's leg before using her physical strength to her backward with the swing of her arm. As Yugito was suspended in the air for a few seconds, Fuu begam making hand seals before she whispered the jutsu to herself. "Armored Spikes", she held up both of her arms after the attack and pointed them straight at Yugito. Fuu's fingernails started turning gray and harden significantly before they suddenly launched themselves at Yugito in two bursts making it harder to avoid. This was when all of the genin boys whistle impressed as they saw how Yugito bended her back in a way no normal human could do without breaking their back, Dom and Naruto's whistle were met with two irritated glares though, but they ignored it for now.
Fuu had definitely been caught off guard with that impressive flexibility that allowed her to dodge the attacks like that in mid-air, she summed it up to be one of the two tails dormant abilities being a giant blue flame cat and all that. Quickly snapping out of her initial surprise and annoyance at the boys whistles which made the cat girl grin as if she liked them commenting with such an old way of saying "That was pretty hot".
(Fuu) "What's with that facial expression two?"
(Yugito) "Well being stuck with a perverted cat that can only think about perverted stuff all day long for 8 years straight tends to do that to ya."
(Fuu teasing) "Oh are you sure that's the reason, cause you seemed to like the whistle of those two-leaf ninja a little more then I would have imagined."
(Yugito) "Perhaps, I can feel the power and authority radiating off of them and my cat isn't exactly helping with getting that though out of my head, instead she is encouraging me to practically just go and jump them right now."
