Dom's eyes slowly opened to reveal the couch upon which he had been sleeping on for the past two weeks, for now there had been to attempt to even attack the bridge builders while they weren't working. Though Dom knew that something was going to happen sooner or later, there was absolutely no way that a man like Gato would just throw away his work out here for nothing. Speaking of that little slime, Dom had been keeping a sharp eye on him and the men under his payment rolls actions. Almost all of them had seized hostility toward the town's people after Dom's Chapter with them, Zabuza had been steadily getting better and better from what Dom had heard about it from his clone patrols in the area, they would listen in on the conversations trying to figure out where the demon could be hiding.
Suddenly his mind was filled with memories of a clone that had popped itself after making some discoveries, one he was happy for in particular while the other one was making his blood boil.
The clone had gotten information about when Zabuza and the hunter ninja was going to attack, and the same clone had also found its way into one of the warehouses and found that it contained people. Most likely it was people from the town who had been taken as blackmailing and were going to be sold as slaves, inside another warehouse many females of almost all ages were kept in chains next to a bunch of beds. It didn't take much imagination to figure out what they were used for, and it almost made the clone throw up at the sight of the blood and piled up corpses to the side, he was going to save those poor people, both the soon to be slaves as well as the sex slaves.
After going over the report of the clone in his head, he stormed down the stairs and into the living room where Asuma and Kakashi were talking. As soon as he got within ear reach he relayed the information to the two johnin and they immediately took action and decided to make a plan of action. With the clones help they had now learned that Zabuza and the hunter ninja apparently named Haku was going to attack them later that day with everything they had. It was decided that the teams should be split in two with one taking care of Zabuza and Haku while the other team took care of the warehouses and secured the people as well as any riches inside for the village to take. After that they were to move into the fortress that Gato owned and turn the place upside down, they would pay back the village what Gato had stolen from them while also taking enough to pay for a proper ranked mission.
Tasuna and Tsunami overheard their conversation and agreed with them in the matter, after some further discussions it was decided that team 7 would take care of Zabuza and Haku while team 10 would handle the warehouses and Gato's mansion. After the deal was sealed they all began making preparations for their missions, Dom packed his pockets full of seals containing smoke bombs, shuriken, kunai, and some different kinds of poison with a matching antidote. He stretched his body and put on his ninja outfit before heading downstairs where the two johnin, Sasuke and Naruto were waiting for them. Shikamaru and Ino were the first ones to come out and therefore team 10 set out immediately toward the area with Dom's clones, they arrived after 30 minutes and stood in front of one of the warehouses. Dom knew what kind of sight would be awaiting them and warned Ino and Shikamaru that it could end up giving them potential nightmares later on, with his warning given he flipped the door open and was immediately hit with the smell of decomposing corpses. It was like walking into a horror scene in a movie, one large cage in the middle of the room with all of the vanished towns people inside either dead, half dead or affected in one way or another. His teammates could only walk out of the building and rush over to the nearest bush to throw up while Asuma and Dom just stood there and assessed the situation.
(Asuma with a worried voice) "You know Dom, I'm a little surprised that you're not over in the bushes too."
(Dom scratching the back of his head) "Well my clone already beat me to it when it found this place and I followed when its memories returned although its way worse in the other warehouse where the sex slaves are. My clone almost fainted by the mere sight of it all and I firmly recommend that the two of us take that one instead of those two so we can spare the others the nightmares..."
