23 - MOCHI.

The meeting lasted for about 2 hours, they sort of just discussed the situation again and spoke about demon activity and how Kibitsuji was finally showing himself and his Kizuki. When everyone was dismissed, Y/N followed Shinobu instead of going back to the Mist estate. "Shino-chan, I'll come check on the patients from the mountain with you, if that's alright." The (h/c)ette informed, gaining the shorter girl's attention. "Ah, of course Y/N-kun!" She said cheerfully, sprinting towards her estate, with the younger boy following her. They both entered the room where the boys were being kept, Y/N saw a guy talking about the pillars, whom he recognised as Murata, saying that they were scary. "Ohayo." Y/N spoke, lacking emotion in his voice. The older Male turned around on his stool slowly and was met with the faces of Insect and Cloud Hashira. "HASHIRA! KOCHO-SAMA! L/N-SAMA! SAYONARA!" He yelled out and ran off, slamming the door behind him. "Oh well." Y/N commented, his facial expression showing how bored he really was. Shinobu checked on the 3 briefly and left them, while the younger pillad stayed. "S-so, you were a Hashira this whole time..?" Zenitsu starter, shaking a bit. Y/N only nodded, eyeing the male up and down. "THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU PROTECT US?! WHY DID YOU SAY YOU COULDN'T PROTECT ME?!" The blonde yelled, crying in the process. "Because you're all Slayers, not regular people and not fucking babies. I wasn't about to run after all of you and kill the demons attacking you- you can do that yourself. Plus, I allowed you to fight on your own because I trusted that you would survive. It appears I'm right." He explained, sort of annoyed. "I only had to save Tanjiro from a Lower Kizuki, but that's because the demon pulled a trick on him, otherwise he, too, wouldn't have needed my assistance." The (h/c)ette pointed out. He turned to give Tanjiro a small smile, who smiled back and nodded in gratitude. "Kamado-san, I apologize for intimidating you during the trial. If I hadn't done so, the Mist pillar would've hurt you." Y/N apologized, bowing before his friend. "N-no worries! And don't bow like that at me, you're ranked higher!" The burgundy boy said, sweat-dropping. Y/N only nodded and went towards the door. "Oi, Inosuke-san. Did the girl I left you with live?" The pillar called out to the silent Male on the bed, deciding to dismiss his silence. The male only hummed, signaling that she was alive. With that, the Hashira left the room and the Butterfly estate.

Y/N ran back to his shared estate with Muichiro. He opened the door the house, looking for the Mist pillar as soon as he entered. "Mui?" He called out, but no response. 'He must be on a mission..' The boy thought to himself and sighed. He decided he would cook and train a bit. He ended up cooking (f/f), since it was his favourite and sat on the table "Ittadakimasu.." The boy said to himself and started eating. "...gochiso sama deshita.." He said to himself again and went to wash his utensils. It reality, he always felt depressed when he ate alone, he was too used to the presence of the Mist pillar when they ate, as it was one of the things they could do and spend time together doing. They didn't spend too much time together, as they were both very busy. Y/N was actually known as the busiest pillar- he was once away from home for 3 whole months, and Muichiro actually thought he died, despite not getting that sort of information from his crow. When the older boy did come back, he passed out in his friend's arms and was tucked in bed by him, but the next day he recieved a very harsh slap for being away for so long. He went outside the mansion to look for his crow, who was sitting on his favourite tree branch near the estate. "Oi, Raven. Could you find Mitsuri-san and ask her if she wants to spar, then go out with me so I can treat her to some sakura mochi?" He asked, the crow just nodded and flew off, leaving the young pillar alone. He laid down on the grass, waiting. During that time, he cloud gazed, trying to find the appeal his friend saw in it, but it was sort of lonely and boring. Y/N wasn't use to having nothing to do and usually after Hashira meetings, he would hang out with his friends, but that wasn't the case today. "N/N-chan!!" Mitsuri called out, running towards the boy while waving her hand. Y/N got up and walked over to her. "Wanna spar? We'll go out later, since I just ate." The younger pillar explained, the older girl only nodded eagerly. They both walked to the training grounds of the Mist estate and assumed a fighting stance, then began fighting. They fought for quite a few hours, most wins were Y/N's, but Mitsuri had some great tactics; they had a great time together. After a while, both of them grew quite hungry, so Y/N suggested they stopped for today and left to get the mochi. Mitsuri insisted that she was going to change, but Y/N said that she looked just fine and that they should just go, so they did. They ran the way to a nearby town, just in case the sun set before they could enjoy their food. The Love pillar seemed nervous, but the younger boy paid no mind and just dragged her along.
