DARK ROMANCE
"Fuck. You."
I watched as the brown in his eyes darkened and he clenched his jaw. He stared at me for what felt like minutes and before I knew it, he had my back pressed against the wa...

Glass. Glass. Glass.
It shattered everywhere around us, my ears ringing at the sound of the bullets going through the back doors, but I couldn't see with Julian's body on top of mine. I couldn't see where everyone else was which kind of freaked me out. I started to feel wetness seeping through my shirt and I looked down, seeing my white tank top drenched in blood but I didn't feel any pain. I looked up at Julian's white dress shirt and saw as his blood was dripping off it and onto me.
He got hit in the shoulder.
How the fuck did he not feel that?
"Julian," I said lowly, catching his attention. He looked down at me, his brown eyes catching my concerned ones.
"You're bleeding," I mumbled to him.
He looked down at his shoulder, probably feeling the sting now that I brought it up. He cursed under his breath as he wrapped an arm under my back and picked me up off the floor, putting us both on our feet. How the hell did doing that not hurt him? I weighed more than a hundred pounds and he lifted me like fucking nothing. I stared at him in disbelief. I mean, he was acting like he didn't just get fucking shot. He needed medical attention and didn't even seem worried about it.
He took his phone out of his pocket, putting it to his ear, and not even a second later he was yelling things into the phone in Italian, taking a few steps back from me. I think this was the most I'd seen him pissed. I looked around the kitchen hesitantly, scared that more bullets would come flying through again. All the guys were getting up off the floor, the glass breaking underneath their shoes. I looked at Alex and he immediately turned his attention over to me, scanning my body and looking relieved that I was standing and untouched despite having Julian's blood all over me. I looked at the rest of the guys and they all looked okay.
Julian slammed his phone onto the counter making the screen shatter and then ran a frustrated hand through his hair. He glanced at me and scanned my body like Alex did. It looked like he was double checking if I was fine.
He shouldn't be worried about me, he should be worried about the bullet that was still in his right shoulder.
"Julian, you need a doctor," Christan said to him.
"Find out why none of my goddamn men were out in that backyard," he ordered at Christan, ignoring what he said. Christan stayed standing there looking at his wound and back at him for a moment before walking out the doors.
We all ended up in Julian's office where he was finally getting medical attention and the rest of the guys were cleaning up the little cuts they had because of the glass. I stood by the large window looking out into the distance as my mind raced about everything. I could hear the boys talking but my mind was too clouded that I couldn't pay attention to them. My leg started shaking back and forth anxiously.
