This takes place almost a little over a year after they all moved to Chicago so, four years before the epilogue.

I flipped through the papers in my hands as I walked down the steps of the strip club and to where the guys held their meetings. I needed Julian to sign the papers for the last truck shipment. I'd been a big help with business even though I was still working for the interior design company.

Alessio's cousin Raffaele walked out of the room when I took the last step. His head down as he took the blunt that was between his ear and put it between his lips. It was quiet down here since it was only reserved for Julian's and Alessio's men.

He didn't even see or hear me so I stopped and watched as he grabbed the lighter from the back of his pants, shaking my head I walked to where he stood. He snapped his head up and I took the blunt from his mouth and flicked it on the floor.

He opened his mouth to say something but I shook my head again "you aren't suppose to smoke down here Raffaele" I fumed at him.

He looked pissed but he knew I was right "I know but once won't hurt" he said, giving me a smile that usually had any other woman fall to their knees.

But not me. I was a one man girl and it would always be Julian. Everyone else didn't make me feel the way he did. Raffaele still flashed me his flirty smile. He had medium length dark blonde hair and light blue eyes.

I rolled my eyes "are they busy?" I asked, gesturing towards the closed door he came out of.

He shook his head and looked away almost like he was afraid too answer me. I narrowed my gaze about to question him on it, but decided against it and turned on my heel. I opened the door and they all sat at the middle large table. Julian and Alessio at one end. Sergio sat next to Julian and the rest of the boys down the table. Alessio's men sat next him as well like they always did. Conversation died down and it went quiet as I entered.

Julian looked pissed about something, but it quickly dropped when he set eyes on me. I walked over and dropped the papers in front of him "the truck is waiting to be sent. You just need to sign those" I told him. He stared at me like he had something to say, but he was afraid to say it.

I was going to ask him what, but he dropped his gaze and signed the papers quickly. When he was done I picked them up and turned around, but he called my name.

"Sit" he said telling Sergio to move. I scanned the table and everyone's eyes were downcast.

"I have things to do Julian" I said, but I really didn't. I was just afraid of what he had to say.

"Do them later. Elisia sit." he looked me in my eyes, ordering me to sit next to him like I was his fucking dog.

My face turned into a glare and I knew he saw it in my eyes. God I loved him and wanted to stick my blade into his stomach at the same time.
