"она могла работать" one of the Russian men spoke. The office was dark and I could feel Pavel's breath fanning over my neck from behind me.
Translation: she could work.

"Сколько?" the Russian asked.
Translation: how much?

Fuck. I need to get out of here. Leave. I need to leave for good.

I could do it.

I keep repeating that in my head. Trying to convince myself I could take down every man in this room.

Aldrik was selling me to another mafia. It all made sense now. Why was he holding those parties? Why I was going to marry Elliot. I thought he'd never want to get rid of me, but I guessed wrong.

One of the men walked closer to me and I stared Aldrik in his eyes, in his black cruel eyes waiting for the Russian to get closer to me so I could make a move.

"She's pretty" the Russian mumbled in English, his accent thick. He was almost a foot away from me now.

I could do this.

I took one step forward, kicked my leg up and hit him in his jaw. He let out a grunt stumbling back a few steps. Before Pavel could do anything I turned around, grabbed his face and slammed it against the door taking the chance to grab his gun. I held his face against the door as I turned to the side and shot the Russian in his chest making him fall to the ground with a loud thump.

"какого хрена" the other Russian man cursed, pulling his gun from the back of his pants. He shot at me right away, but I ducked down shooting him in his leg, making his gun fall from his hands and fly across the room all while I slammed Pavel's head against the door one more time knocking him unconscious.

I tried shooting at the Russian again, but the gun was empty. Fuck. I threw it on the ground just as he was charging for his own gun across the room, grabbing his leg in pain. I also ran for the gun trying to beat him to it. I was an inch away from grabbing it when he suddenly came from behind me, pulling the back of my hair.

I turned around immediately, getting a blow to the stomach before the pain could subside. He punched me in my face, making my head fly back and blood run down my nose. I took a second to wipe the blood, gaining my balance back before I punched him in his jaw kicking my leg up to hit him in his ribs. I took the distraction to grab the gun off the floor and shot him in his chest. He fell to the ground, blood pouring from his shirt making a big pile on the ground.
