Kongpob only realizes what Arthit's been doing the whole time when they visited the mermaids. Arthit's wearing a bucket hat covering half of his face. He has black overalls on top of his turtleneck. The whole point from the dock to the mermaid's cave is uncovered under the sunlight. Even when Arthit can shift into a bat, it'll be a hassle with his clothes, plus humans scatter around the place.

And if there's one unforgivable sin that even royals will be punished for is stupidly revealing their identities to humans. Arthit also doesn't want to hide in Kongpob's backpack, so Arthit doesn't have any choice but bring Kongpob with him.

Kongpob pulls out his umbrella from his backpack as soon as they step out of the little ferry boat. He opens it for Arthit, making sure the sun doesn't get to him.

"Sure I'll come with you?"

"Yes. I also need you in case some of these humans attack me." And forces him to reveal himself to them lest they think he's out of the ordinary with his clothing.

Fortunately for Arthit, from an outside point of view, they look like an average couple strolling around and enjoying the sun with an umbrella, especially with Arthit wrapping his arm around Kongpob's waist. Only the other noticeably knows how to dress and is rich with his elegant look, and the other just doesn't try at all, still in his uniform.

Apart from the jealous looks Kongpob receives being boyfriends with someone sophisticated and alluring like Arthit; the others shake their heads in disappointment for skipping school to date his boyfriend. Kongpob quietly growls at them. Arthit snickers.

They hang back around the shore for a few minutes, strolling around and talking random things with Arthit mostly sharing all the stupidity he had to endure every night at the castle from his fellow vampires. Kongpob's just glad Arthit's not onto his werewolf bashing agenda anymore, although there are minimal times when Arthit can't just help it.

Once they make sure no one is spying on them, they enter a cave. When they reach the end, Arthit turns onto the left side, looking for something. Then, he flies onto the top middle touching a particular pattern before muttering something under his breath.

The stone glows once after some time. Arthit then gracefully lands back beside Kongpob. Arthit flicks his hand and what was once a dead-end slowly parted for them. Kongpob shakes himself from staring at Arthit. It's a known fact to other creatures how to get to the mermaids, but werewolves don't do it as smoothly as Arthit did.

Kongpob raises his umbrella for Arthit again. They walk onto the largest rock. From his pocket, Arthit pulls out a diamond necklace. In the middle surrounded by pristine small cut diamonds, is a radiant blue diamond looking magnificent even when it's protected from the sun. It looks like it sparkles on its own.

"I know you're there."

Not a moment after, a mermaid appears. Her long tail, similar to a lyre tail, is a rich shade of blue that sparkles under the sunlight. The covers on her bosoms with the same rich shade of blue look magnificent as well. Her long ebony hair, even when drizzled with water, dances with the wind. It frames her small gorgeous face perfectly. She wears sparkling jewelry but nothing can compare to her eyes– rich gold with specks of amber.

"Are her eyes rich gold with brown on them?" Kongpob whispers to Arthit.

"It's gold with an emerald."

She tilts her head, looking up at the necklace, and a beautiful smile stretches from her plump lips. "That looks beautiful."

"Of course. Do you expect something cheap from me?"

"Don't throw it on me," Her smile widens, mocking Arthit. "Will you put in on me, please?"

"How about a no?" Arthit crosses his arms. "I thought mermaids are supposed to be smart."
