"What do you mean we're not really married?"

"Oon, you have to sit for this. We'll explain everything to you," Mrs. Rojnapat softly says as she takes in the look of confusion on her son's face. Beneath his confused look, she can see the slight rage in his eyes. She knows Arthit's not mad at her, at them, despite him joking being the best son, it's true. He's the best son, so she knows Arthit's madder at the situation. He's probably mad at himself.

"Your marriage that night with Kong, it's fake. It doesn't mean anything."

"Like what I heard... Why? How?"

Mrs. Rojnapat and Tutah share a look. "Tutah called me that night. He said you told him that you're on your way to marry your soulmate. We expected something dumb to happen, but that's the worst you can do when you're drunk! What if you married some psychopath?!"

Arthit glares at Tutah. "Why didn't you stop me?"

"I did. I called your Mae."

"We're thankful at Tutah, don't blame him. Your Por and I drove to the place and saw you with a guy... We were about to stop you but you looked so happy with him, it was the first time your Por and I saw you that happy again."

"But the chapel, there was a chapel... It's real, right? I didn't imagine it."

Mrs. Rojnapat nods. "Yes, there was a chapel. It wasn't your imagination. But that place was old, and that night, they were about to tear it down."

That's the reason why when Arthit returned the next day. It was gone. Like magic. Like someone was shitting on Arthit. Because someone was shitting on him, he should've known.

"We were there before you two, and we asked if they could officiate your wedding like it looked real-"

"So... Wait... are all of you there to witness that embarrassing moment?"

"Yes and all your friends. It wasn't embarrassing," Tutah nods to agree with his mother's statement. "Your Por and I were there to witness it. It looked simple, yet it looked romantic. You two looked in love, and can you blame us? We just wanted to see our son getting married before he left this world. With your lifestyle, we thought we wouldn't have the chance to see something like that anymore."

So... all this is just a cruel prank to Arthit orchestrated by his parents and his friends. He thought the pink milk prank was the worst, but this one took the cake.

"Wait, if Knot's there, why did he have to force me to buy him his rings?"

"You still gave another ring to Kongpob," Tutah shrugged.

"What if I didn't find Kong to compensate those expensive rings? I'd be broke."

"That's what's on your mind right now?"

"I can't believe I fell for that."

Arthit isn't dumb when drunk. He's gullible. Very. It did seem so believable back then but thinking about it now. It does look something out of a fairytale. Meaning: not possible.

"We can't believe you as well. You saw how Knot processed his marriage. How did you think marriage is that easy?" Tutah.

"I don't know. I didn't think! It happened in the movies and series I watched, so how would I know? And it's not like I focused on Knot. I didn't have any plan for marriage why would I?" Arthit shakes his head, disbelief at himself. The more he thinks about it, the more he feels more of a fool. "Plus... I assumed that chapel registered our marriage, when I was about to ask, they weren't there anymore. Another plus, I was so focused on looking for my husband because my parents told me they'd disinherit me,"
