What if we rewrite the stars?
Say you were made to be mine

For the next three months, Kongpob and Arthit remain in touch with each other- they became the best of friends, always going out after their work, travelling together when they have a long vacation and messaging each other in the wee hours of the night exchanging oddly satisfying videos, memes, funny vines, and whatever random funny things they saw on the internet.

It's obvious to both that they have feelings for each other, even deeper than attraction, but they make no point of talking about it- because along with the acknowledgement of their feelings for each other is the acknowledgement that they're not fated and what they're doing is not right, it's not what the gods would've wanted to happen. Both are scared to face that ugly painful reality.

So until then, until they can prolong their relationship, they will. Until they can deceive themselves that they were intended to be, they will. Until they can still spend their lives together, they will.

They damn will.

Even if they remain friends who are obviously in love with each other. It's fine.

Even if with every lingering stare they share is mixed with the want to kiss each other senselessly only they had to stop themselves. It's fine.

Everything's fine just as long as they stay together.

In those three months, Kongpob continues to meet his fated person. Worse, she becomes his co-worker but Kongpob, also, continues to ignore her. He doesn't need her, he already has his P'Arthit. Arthit is more than enough for him.

So, everything's fine, Kongpob and Arthit are both ignoring their painful reality.

Until it isn't.

One night, Kongpob receives a message from Arthit, an update about his work, one of the constant in their lives as well, updating each other about their work.

Kongpob thought it would be a simple update, Arthit has a new colleague, nothing he should worry about but then Arthit has sent him the picture of said colleague and as fate would've liked it, it's Arthit's fated person.

That night, Kongpob stayed awake, worries and what-ifs kept his eyes opened. And only does Kongpob was able to sleep the next morning when Arthit annoyed him with sweet messages.

For a month, Arthit remains the same and no word from him that tells Kongpob he's attracted to his boss. The only thing Arthit has shared to Kongpob about her is how weird it is that they're always coincidentally meeting up. When ask for his opinion about it, Kongpob only responded with an awkward smile and a passive comment of, "Must be just coincidence. Don't think about it too much."

So, Kongpob thought everything would be fine. Arthit isn't attracted to her and Kongpob for sure won't tell Arthit that his boss is his fated person.

Everything will be fine once again.

But then the thing Kongpob fears the most happened.

Arthit starts keeping his distance from him.

You think it's easy
You think I don't want to run to you

Without any word from the older, Arthit shuts himself away from Kongpob and the latter can't do anything about it but cry and wait for his P'Arthit to call him and explain to him what warranted his sudden disappearance.

But Kongpob has a hunch.

It's probably because of Kongpob lying to him all the time. Arthit probably found out that his boss is the one he's fated with and now he's mad at the younger for keeping him at the dark. He's mad that Kongpob would keep him away from his future, his happiness, his fate. Now, he's probably currently family planning with her. The way it's meant to be.
