"Good morning. Where can I see Kongpob Suthilak? On what floor is his office?"

Arthit widens his eyes in expectancy, and he widely smiles at the attendant, ideally looking like an innocent guy not there to fight with her boss. He doesn't want another repeat of what happened with him at the bar. He can't be banned at this place as well, or it's goodbye to Kongpob Suthilak to him.

Arthit's not here to fight with that Kongpob Suthilak. Oh no. He's just here to... you know talk with his dear HUSBAND... and then scream at him because Arthit went looking for him for 1 month!

Because of Kongpob, Arthit wasted 1 month of his life. That's 1 month! Every second of Arthit's life is essential.

Fortunately for him, his pretense works on the attendant because she gives him a polite smile. "Do you have an appointment with him, sir?"

Arthit's smile slightly wavers. "I will have one if he sees me."

Her expression changes. "Sir-"

"You know what, no need. I'll just wait here."

Arthit walks over to the waiting place in the lobby. Sitting on the couch, he hopes the attendant didn't call for security to escort him out. He needs to talk to her boss because Arthit thinks his parents' threats are no child's play. Arthit needs his parents' money. He can't support his lifestyle on his own.

They're probably so done with Arthit fooling around they thought this was the only way to straighten him out. And damn it, it's working because he's willing to do anything for that, like stop fooling around for a month to come looking for his husband.

Arthit sighs and slumps in his seat when no buff guy comes to escort him out of the building a minute after.

With his eyes trained on the newspaper, his mind flies somewhere else.

He's doing this for the money, but the more he thinks of it, the more he realizes Kongpob is not a bad husband. Kongpob getting married to that beautiful model, knowing he's married to Arthit aside, being husbands with Kongpob isn't a forced choice. It's not an unfair choice, so why should Arthit worry?

Although his marry and run away type, there's no denying that Kongpob is a big catch. He's handsome and hot, certainly Arthit's type. From what Arthit remembers from the little memories he can recollect at the night of the party, Kongpob is an entertaining guy, Tutah said Arthit looked very happy with Kongpob and even called Kongpob his soulmate. And, of course, those kisses and Kongpob's expertise in romance. Arthit enjoyed their time together, and he probably saw something in Kongpob if, in his drunken state, he offered Kongpob a marriage.

If he were to meet Kongpob in a different circumstance, Arthit is sure he'd fall in love with the guy since Kongpob ticked all the boxes Arthit's looking for a partner.

And, of course, not going to forget the fact that Kongpob is a wealthy guy and an heir apparent to their family's business. With a millionaire husband, Arthit doesn't need his parents' money anymore. He can be disinherited but Kongpob will be there to support him.

His parents told him time and time that Arthit acts and thinks dumb whenever he's drunk but thinking about it now, this is the best decision Arthit's made in his life.

Having the best husband anyone can hope for while simultaneously skipping all those relationship dramas and problems.

Arthit is simply the best.

His parents threaten him that he'll be disinherited but he won't need their money so who's laughing now?

Arthit mentally laughs at that thought. He's so smart!
