Follow Revna in a whole new world...
Will she come back to her lovers? Or will she find new love with an old flame?
Elijah and Nik dropped the phone that now had a dial up sound. Running to where the Bennett witch claims her spell led them to. Was it too late? Was she gone? The both could still feel her, but it was so distant. Like she was in a tunnel with bad service. Disconnecting from them. It pained them deeply. Not knowing if she was okay or not. She sounded in pain, and for a split second they had felt it. But not even a second late and it was gone. Numbed by the empty dial tone of the mobile they had on speaker.
They were both out of the town, just outside where Whitmore college began, trying to figure out a way to stabilize the other side. Bonnie Bennett was helping them. They had a plan. Move the anchor spell to another. Let Revna heal. She needed time. But they didn't know she was going with her own plan. No explanation. No time to reason with her. No way of knowing if she would come back.
The emptiness Elijah and Niklaus were feeling made them afraid. The Noble Original and Hybrid Original. Afraid. All because of one woman. Broken at the thought of never seeing her again.
Sure, Klaus had only been with her once. But it was an instant connection. She understood him like no other could. They were like equals and he felt at ease with that thought.
Elijah, he had been with her once before. Never being able to find her after Katerina had transitioned. He looked. For years. Only to wonder if she was hiding from him. The night they had shared being a mistake for her. But when he was able to see her again, alive and well. He knew she was it. Even if she didn't want it.
The brothers made it to the Salvatore Boarding house. Breaking through the door, Nik ran in first. Searching. Elijah ran up the stairs. Ripping through doors. Both frantic. Only for a moment did they both stop, pausing their crazed searching. Listening. Revna had a heartbeat. But that was what made their hearts break. Ripping into two and crumbling into the pits of their stomachs. Silence filling the house. The only thing left of what was here, was the sweet scent of lemongrass. A scent that was attached to Revna from all the tea she drank.
Niklaus was the first to break. Dropping to his knees as he felt the emptiness fill him. Spreading like ice through his veins. Spotting the phone on the ground, shattered from Revna.
Elijah on the other hand was not the same as Niklaus. Leaning into the wall as he slid down, his hand running through his normally well kept hair, messing it up. Thoughts of how to numb the pain of loss. The possibility of hope seeming so far away.
Both Brothers closed their eyes at the same time. Taking a deep breath in as they searched for the easy way out. Not wanting to feel the pain and emptiness. Wanting a relief that only Revna could bring.
At the same time, both Brothers had decided to Flip the Switch.
