I hadn't heard from Nik for the rest of the day after the odd request of a date. Elijah had stopped by the day after, mentioning that I would be picked up Friday for my date with Niklaus. I would be lying if I said I wasn't excited. I even tried to get Elijah to mention where he was taking me. All he had told me was to dress nice. What does that even mean? Did I not always dress nice?

So here I was, looking through my closet, trying to pick out what to wear. I felt like a teenager at this moment. Silas was sitting on my bed, making fun of me like the good friend he was.

"You know it probably doesn't even matter what you wear." Silas spoke up as I held up a dress. I snapped my eyes to him for an explanation. "He probably will take you to some diner or something. Maybe for a run? Wolves like a good run, right?" He teased. I rolled my eyes at his teasing.

"You're not funny." I told him sternly. His eyes stared at me for a minute before we both laughed. Shaking my head at him, I turned back to my closet. "What do you think?" I asked him. Silas let out a sigh, standing up and coming to the closet himself. He reached in with a smile.

"This." He spoke Simple's, handing me a dress of autumn colors. Flowers scattered all over it in a vintage type style. It was perfect. Not made for fancy, but perfect for a date night.

"Perfect

"Perfect." I said with a smile.

Friday came rather fast. The nerves in me were bubbling like a witches cauldron.I have no idea why I am so nervous. But I've never done this- a date. Dating was not something we did in my time and other than being with Elijah that one time. I hadn't really been with anyone else.

I looked into the mirror at myself. The dress was beautiful. I had never worn it before- not having a reason for such a nice dress. Usually just sticking to the maxi skirts and dresses. A knock on my door brought my mind to a close, bringing my attention to the door. Taking a breath, I made my way to the door to open it.

"Revna-" Nik started, looking at me with admiration. "You look...stunning, love." He breathed out, reaching his hand out for mine. I smiled at him before placing my hand in his. He paused for a minute before a smirk replaced his smile. "Nervous, love?" My heartbeat. He could hear the unsteady rhythm. I smiled a bit, nodding.

"I have never been on a date before.." I admitted to him. Nik grinned, raising an eyebrow.

"I get to be your first? That's exciting."  Nik said as he guided me out of the house and to his car. I rolled my eyes at his excitement over being my first date. It truly did feel like some kind of teenage moment.

"So where are you taking us?" I asked him as he got into the driver side after closing my door for me. Nik grinned at me.

"Do you like art?" My eyebrow raised as I nodded slowly. "Good. We're going on a short roadtrip."
