After the moment Silas and I had shared in the dressing room, we had avoided the subject completely. Neither of us feeling the guts to actually talk about the random moment we relived in the abandoned strip mall. Well that was until a few weeks in, we were just sitting down for dinner.

"So are we not going to talk about it?" Silas randomly spoke up. His head tilted as he looked up at me.

"Talk about what, Si?" I asked, placing a plate of chicken on the table followed by some asparagus. I looked up when he didn't say anything, sighing at the pointed look he gave me.

"So it was just that? A one time hook up?" He asked, his voice raising slightly as he became angry.

"What is this? Are you seriously getting mad at me?" I asked, placing down a glass of ice tea in front of him.

"No." He sighed, closing his eyes as he breaths loudly through his nose. Calming himself down. "I don't understand what that was." I took a deep breath, sitting down in front of him.

"It was closure, Silas." I cringed at the way it sounded. "We were together a long time ago. We never had an end to our-"

"Fling?" Silas finished for me.

"You were in love with Amara. I was just the fling that you both shared." I told him. Silas went to object, "Don't try to tell me otherwise. You're my best friend, Silas. We're stuck in a prison world with a Sociopath, with no way out. We had a moment." Silas sighed, nodding in understanding.

"You're right. We had a moment, the perfect moment to close our relationship off. I just wish it was the last time I was going to be with you." I let out a breathy laugh, leaning over and placing some chicken onto his plate.

"Well isn't this a lovely moment between, what are you two? Friends? Friends with benefits? Or secret lovers?" I looked past Silas to see Kai standing there in the archway.

"What are you doing here?" I questioned, continuing to place food onto Silas' plate. Kai grinned and walked in towards us.

"Well after I dug myself out of the ground, by the way, thanks for that." His eyes looked to Silas who was currently ignoring his existence. "I figured we could start over, maybe you could invite me to your little dinners and we could be- friendly." He smirked, wiggling his eyebrows towards me. I rolled my eyes, standing up and grabbing a third plate. Kai grinned, moving to sit next to my seat only for Silas to move his finger, pushing the chair out of the room.

"Silas." I scolded. Silas let out a huff, going back to his food. I grabbed another glass and pouring some iced tea for Kai.

"Why thank you, Rev." Kai taunted, his eyes peeking at Silas who was glaring at him as he sat down next to my seat. We sat in quiet for a bit, eating the food. "This is absolutely delicious, Rev. Have you always been able to cook?" Kai asked.

"What game are you playing at?" Silas snapped before I could say anything.

"What do you mean?" Kai asked, even I could see he had something up his sleeve. A trick of some sort. Silas pushed his chair out, slamming his hands onto the table. Everything went so fast, I had no time to react. As soon as Silas stood up to attack Kai, Kai had shoved a steak knife into my hand, cutting through the middle of my knuckles. My breath catching in my throat as the pain shot into my nerves like ice burning me. Choking back the scream. Silas grabbed Kai, shoving him into the wall and punching him repeatedly. I just sat there, staring at the knife that was stuck through my hand and into the table. Gasping back the shock.

"Revna, are you okay?" Silas asked, once he had snapped Kai's neck again. I didn't move, just wide eyed and staring at the knife. "Hey- Here, I can remove-"

"No." I spoke, finally snapping out of the shock, tears running down my face at the pain. "It's not like you can heal me. Get the first aid kit, it's under the sink. If you remove the knife it could get worse." Silas nodded, moving to do what I had told him. I grabbed the knife's handle, as Silas came back over to help bandage me. Pulling the knife out quickly, keeping my hand steady so I wouldn't cause anymore damage.

Silas moved to press a piece of gauze to my hand, trying to stop the bleeding. But I grabbed his hand. A warmth starting in my chest, moving along my nerves and skin. A maroon color washing through my skin as it spread to my hand, slowly the wound stitched itself together. Closing up on its own with a little puff maroon smoke.

"Was that..?" Silas started, his eyes on my hand that was completely healed. I nodded slowly.

"We're going home." I said with a smile spreading across my face slowly.
