Chapter VIII: So We Wait

3RD POV-

"So we trap your brothers here to just wait?" Damon spoke up, it had been a few weeks after they had chained up the Hybrid and the Noble Originals. Liv and Luke had left for the time being. Both claiming that they had a lead on finding their sister Josette.

"What do you want me to do? The Gemini twins can't do anything without the ascendant, which their non magic sister has hidden. I'm sure Revna will find her way out. She's a old and wise witch." Kol explained, looking through Bonnie's grimmore that she let him borrow. He was currently trying to find a way to communicate with a prison world without the key. All his leads were needing the blood of the witch/warlock that activated it, or the magic signature of them. The fact that each way needs Revna since it turns out she was the one to lock Kai away.

"And we can't just.. I don't know- Dagger them? Klaus is snarling like he might go all Old Yeller on us." Damon complained.Kol sighed, slamming the book shut. "Or even Cujo." Damon made a face at that thought. The image of Klaus ripping out of his chains and pulling limbs apart was a whole new type of nightmare.

"Do you have a dagger with the ash of an Old White Oak tree? No? Then shut up would you?" Bonnie laughed as she walked into the parlor, overhearing Kol telling Damon off. She didn't like Kol when he was a vampire, but this new him was someone she could definitely be friends with. Bonnie had just returned from her Grams old home, looking through her collection of other coven's grimmores. Of course she didn't find anything. Everything was just a dead end. But the bright side was, having the two rabid vampires locked up here made it so everyone could live their lives again.

"Something funny, Bonbon?" Damon snipped, narrowing his eyes at the young witch.

"No, Damon. Not at all." She ripped back, a sarcastic smile on her face. Damon went to say something else when a loud crash sounded through the house. "What was that?" Bonnie asked, looking between the two supernatural men.

"IS ANYBODY HERE?!" Someone yelled. Damon got up, flashing to the study, leaving behind Bonnie and Kol. Stefan stood in the study, a woman in his arms.

"Stefan?" Damon questioned, but when he looked at him, he knew it wasn't Stefan. "Silas."

"Oh My God! What happened?!?" Bonnie exclaimed, running to help Silas who was currently holding an unconscious Revna who was covered in blood and dirt. Kol came in afterwards, running to Silas as well.

"Why isn't she healing?! What happened?!" Kol questioned, taking Revna from Silas to move her somewhere more comfy.

"Magical wounds can't be healed from her magic. Th-the traveler in her- it's keeping unpure magic from-Oh god." Silas stammered out. His hands shaking from freaking out. His best friend had blood coming from her eyes, ears and nose.

"Silas." Damon muttered, grabbing Silas by the upper arms. "What. Happened?" He spoke slowly. Silas took a deep breath.

"Kai happened."
