CHAPTER 16

Maleia's POV

I arrived at school early with Alannis. I wore a brown crop top , denim jacket and denim pants. And a gucci white sneakers. Ali is wearing black dress for today. As usual tumambay na naman kami sa cafe.

"Nakakatampo ka. Mas madalas mo ng kasama si Levi kesa sakin." nakanguso na siya ngayon sa harap ko.

Kanina pa siya nag dadrama habang nasa sasakyan pa kami. Sinabhan siya ni Kai na sila din daw naman madalas na magkasama.

"We are just busy of something okay? Wag kana magtampo jan." I sipped my iced coffee and stare outside .

"Something? Ano naman yan? Baka naman... Nakuuuu Bes!" Nanunukso ang tingin niya and pinutol niya pa ang sinabi.

"Ano? Wag mo nga ako pag isipan ng masama . This is just school activity. You're too busy in your club kay naghanap ako ng mapagkaka abalahan." I did not tell her about the elections dahil inaantay ko muna na lumabas ung list dahil hindi pa naman ako sgurado if official candidate na ba talaga ako.

"Lam mo bes, I told Kai about this pero sasabhin ko na din sayo. If I didn't know you have a boyfriend, I would ship you and Levi. For real!" she's getting hype and hysterical in front of me which make me rolled my eyes.

"Tigil tigilan mo ko bes! Don't me!" I just listened to her rants until we decided to go back to the campus.

As we enter the campus, nagtaka kami why there are bunch of students in the bulletin board area. At dahil chismosa tong bestfriend ko, agad niya kong hinila papalapit dun. Some students even glance our way , at me? It made me curious kaya nagpatangay ako kay Ali.
When we are in front of the bulletin, it was the official list of candidates for the elections. I search for our partylist then tried to find my name . I smiled when I saw my name on top .

"Oh my gosh! Maleia Cassandra Alvarez?" Mabagal na binasa ni Alannis ang pangalan ko. "The hell! Hindi mo sinabi saking tatakbo ka!" She's overreacting na naman, she even pulled my hair a bit.

"I am about to tell you, I am just waiting for this." Turo ko sa list. Mas lumawak ang ngiti ko when I saw Levi's name below mine. Vice president huh? Even though he won't admit it, I know for a fact that he is not on this. He doesn't have any experience or background pero still he run with me. Tss.

I pulled Alannis away from the students and dumiretso na kami agad sa classroom. Naninibago ako dahil yung mga students na nakakasalubong namin were saying "Goodluck" to me or even smiling at me. Nakakagaan naman ng puso yun.

"OMG girls! Andyan na kayo!" Magandang bungad samin ni Alex. "Nakakaloka ka girl, hindi ka man lang nagsabi na tatakbo ka pala bilang reyna ay este president ng student council at running mate mo pa ung poging kambal neto!" Turo niya kay Lexi. Hindi niya man lang kami pinaupo muna at nag huhumirentado aa upuan niya.

"Ako nga hindi sinabhan bakla! Kayo pa kaya!" Alannis added then sat on her chair.

"Sorry. Inaantay ko lang kasi yung official list. I don't even know now na pala ipopost yun." umupo na din ako sa chair ko. Konti palang kami sa classroom dahil maaga pa.

"Goodluck Maleia! It's nice that you choose to run with Levi. You're both famous so advantage yan." Lexi commented. I smiled back at her. I'm not into popularity though, kahit naman hindi ako popular or Levi, I would still choose to run.

Naputol ang pag uusap namin when the bell rang and our professor entered the room. Isinantabi ko muna ang pagiisip about the elections and nag focus sa klase.

After a few hours, break time na. Papalabas na kami ng room when I saw Jae waiting at the door. I felt excitement seeing him dahil sa sobrang busy nya hindi na kami nagkikita or date. Madalang lang din kami magkatext or phone calls. Nauna na ko sa kanila and signaled na kakausapin ko muna ang boyfriend ko.
