CHAPTER 21

Maleia's POV

It's now weekend and may appointment ako today with the coordinator para mag scout ng venue for my debut. Si Alannis ang isasama ko dahil hahabol nalang daw si Levi mamaya. Pinatawag daw siya ng dad niya sa company nila.

Actually, mom is the one who is much excited for my debut. Ang dami dami niyang suggestions in regards to the theme and everything. I would want a simple one but mom like it to be grand.

I'm torn with a Crazy rich asian theme which Alannis suggested or a swan lake theme which Mom wanted. I can maybe decide once I already chosen the venue.

"Sis. are you ready?" Alannis peeped on the door. It's open though.

"Yea, bababa na ako." I answered.

I am wearing white oversized shirt tucked in to my black jogger and white nike sneakers. Madami kaming pupuntahan na venues now kaya I prefer to wear this.
I pulled my white tote bag when my phone rang. I looked at the screen and I automatically smiled when I saw it's Levi.

"Hi." He answered on the other line. I felt butterflies on my stomach whenever I hear his voice on the phone.

"Hi." Maliit yung boses ko dahil sa excitement.

"Umalis na kayo? Saan na kayo niyan?" He asked.

"Nasa bahay pa. Paalis pa lang." Sinabit ko na ang bag ko sa balikat ko when my phone notified a video call.

"Let me see what you wearing. Baka too short." It answered my question kung bakit video call. I immediately answered it and humarap sa full length mirror ko.

"Ayan napo. I'm not girly today kaya nothing to worry." He sighed on the other line kaya lumabas na ako ng kwarto ko. I turn off the video call para mabalik sa voice call.

"I'll call again later if papunta na ako. Take care alright?" I heard na parang naglalakad siya so baka andun na din siya.

"Okay. You too. See you later." And that's when we ended the call.

Bumaba na ako and Alannis is waiting for me downstairs. My brothers are not here , may kanya kanyang lakad.

"Antagal ha? Nagpaganda ka talaga nyan." She giggled habang palabas kami ng bahay.

"Levi called kasi. Checking up on what I'm wearing." I closed the gate , nag aantay na samin ung coordinator and siya ang mag dadrive samin papunta sa mga venues.

"Hello po mga ma'am! Ang gaganda niyo po." Bungad niya ng sumakay kami sa car niya.

"Good morning po.! Thank you Dale!" Bati ni Ali kay Dale na coordinator ng debut ko.

"Goodmorning Dale! Kumain ka na ba?" Bati ko din sa kanya.

"Yes po maam. Kayo po ba? May dadaanan papo ba tayo?" Tanong niya.

Nagkatinginan kami ni Alannis and alam na na pareho ang iniisip namin.

"Let's go SB muna please!" Ali cheerfully said. Natawa nalang kami ni Dale and he  started driving na.

"Going back! Ayeeeee! Levi's consistent huh. Ilang months na ulit siya nanliligaw?" Baling ni Alannis sa akin.

"3 months." I answered while looking outside the window.  Buti nalang maaga kami umalis, hindi pa mainit.

"OMG! Pa hard to get sis? Ano pa inaantay mo? Why not gave him the yes he deserve?" Masyado siyang focus sa topic . Hindi pa siya nakakapag kape , hyper na siya.

"We're taking things slow Ali. Kayo nga ni Kai hindi pa kayo! Mauna muna kayo no! Tsaka I'm not 18 yet. Dad would not allow. I'm planning sa debut ko siya sasagutin. Mom is fine with him anyways." I explained to her my plans. Nakapag usap na kami about dito and wala namang problema si mommy. Ang sabi niya lang it would be better if nasa tamang edad na ako before ko sya sagutin.
